I don’t necessarily disagree with that sentiment, given how our local Democrats have been such a disaster in every respect for the public schools, but it seems like an odd admission to broadcast within a few days of the election.

Terry has lost his mind. What's going on with him?

Latest polls favor Younkin by as much as 10 points, that's what's wrong.

That speaks very poorly of Virginians. We’ll be the new laughing stock after this election.

Actually the rest of the country will be hailing us as saviors.

Nope. I’ve had friends and family ask me “WTF is happening in VA”? How did we get so many crazies?

Is your family from the bay area?

Most of the country wants a fast pendulum swing back to the center. Youngkin represents the beginning of a return to moderation and a firewall against the hard left socialism and marxism of the past 9 months.

DP. My family from western Suffolk County, Long Island has been asking the same thing.

Don't be a bigot. Why vote for someone who wants to silence parents? This election is about our children, not the last president.

DP. I’m voting for McAuliffe specifically for my kids. I don’t need ignorant parents trying to force schools to teach my kids about dinosaur Jesus. 🦕🦖🦕

Thank you! We can do it! My kids are at the same school where one of the Terry's child went, and we need to take public schools under control. We can do it!

The Mac is our next Governor. He’s capable to keep VA safe and growing.

Oh Yes the Mac. Already hiring lawyers to contest the election and then tried to have story killed. Same way of doing business.

1. Well under 50%. Probably about 38%. Likely less than 30%.

2. You think the country cares that much about one state with under 9 million people?

People who are paying attention are definitely watching to see if a Blue state flips to Red. This race has national implications for both parties. Did you notice how McAuliffe dropped significantly after bring in Kamala, Biden, Stacey Abrams to campaign with him? Did you pay attention to the turnout? McAuliffe was only able to fill 25% of a *half* soccer field in Arlington when he campaigned with Biden. Arlington Dems have been begging for campaigners (canvassers, poll watchers, etc.).

And that's not a lot of people. You tried this argument last year. Trump had the rallies. Trump had the momentum. Nobody went to Joe's events. blah blah blah

I don't want Youngkin to win, but I won't be surprised if he does. But don't delude yourself that the rest of the country will care for longer than the 24 hours that Fox makes it the number one story.

Trying to kill the story is pathetic, but hiring lawyers is something done by everyone in the current political climate when a race looks to be close.

I will admit that Fox News's campaigning for Youngkin is really something. Down to the outlier poll being trumpeted today.

You use the phrase "Marxism" to mean "authoritarian." I don't think you even understand the basic tenets of Marxism, or you would know perfectly well that pro-business Terry McAuliffe is no Marxis.

Youngkin is basically Trump without the mean tweets. At best, he's going to an impotent governor if he is elected since he doesn't actually know what he's doing. But more dangerously, he'll try to copy the extreme policies of places like Texas on issues including abortion. His impulses are 100% Trumpian and Draconian. And since he doesn't have to worry about re-election, he doesn't care.

I don't know any parent who doesn't want to be heard. McAuliffe knows he made a deadly mistake. Too late to fix it.

There certainly is a lot of loco in LoCo. Plus, whoever else the GOP imports to fuel the frenzy.
