I like her too.

Have you been looking at the polling in swing states? Biden doesn’t need a huge amount of help.

The following swing states have enough polling to compute a 538 polling average:

Florida: Biden +6
Michigan: Biden +8
Ohio: Trump +0.4
Pennsylvania: Biden + 7
Wisconsin: Biden +7

A surprise swing state: Texas: Biden +0.7

And don’t talk to me about Clinton because she did not have those polling numbers in July 2016.

Biden’s brilliant campaign strategy is to let Trump and the GOP do all the campaigning for him. I think there are more silent voters not interested in arguing their position of support for Biden than there are silent Trump voters.

Are they evenly distributed geographically?

Who is they? Please clarify.

The silent Biden voters. Also, the silent Trump voters.

Strangely, I almost never see analysis that recognizes how geographically concentrated HRC’s vote was. The current obsession with natural aggregates misses how important broader geographic support is to defeating Trump.

Huh? I see lots of stuff on geography. Specifically that Trump is losing white suburban women in every state.

My line up would be

1. Whitmer for VP or Booker if it wasn't a woman
2. Harris for Attorney General
3. Rice for Secretary of State
4. Buttigeig for Housing or some other interior cabinet position

Can’t have an ambitious woman? Sheesh.

Personally, I think Julian Castro would've been a good VP if it wasn't a woman. He is super popular among latinos, young, and charming. He'd play very well in the sunbelt.

I’ve been trying to learn more about Karen Bass now that she’s a contender. She is one hardworking and impressive woman:

Yeah, She was my assemblywoman growing up in LA. She's fantastic and even if she isn't the pick, I am happy she is getting the national attention she deserves. If Kamala ends up at VP or AG, I hope Gavin Newsom considers moving her up to the Senate.

He’ll be on the campaign trail regardless, so that will be nice.

+1. I worked with Bass and her team back in Sacramento when she was speaker. The congresswoman has great leadership skills and is an expert political player. If Dems take the Senate, Bass is just who you need as a behind-the-scene players to whip votes for Biden's leg agenda.

Oooh good insights. I’m in CA and worked with various activist organizations, and she was always lending her time, energy, resources, expertise to motivate volunteers, help campaigns, and get out the vote.
