Take the quiz! I got Baldwin, somewhat mysteriously. |
Shouldn’t he have picked and announced by now? Seems like it is getting pretty late into the year to now know. |
Heh, I got Harris. I'm good with that! |
I feel similarly |
I feel similarly to the pp but I would never ever, ever ever, ever ever do that. Not in this lifetime. And under the assumption his forthcoming karma, not the next. |
Biden’s brilliant campaign strategy is to let Trump and the GOP do all the campaigning for him. I think there are more silent voters not interested in arguing their position of support for Biden than there are silent Trump voters. |
I got a four way tie between Harris, Baldwin, Duckworth and Grisham. ![]() ![]() I think it's because I am pretty sold on his pick having held a statewide office. |
Are they evenly distributed geographically? |
I think there’s a very good chance you’re right. There were a lot of Trumpenvoters in 2016 who didn’t necessarily agree with him or even like him but thought, hey what the hey, I’ve been told Washington never works, maybe this outsider can fix things. He hasn’t fixed things. No one except billionaires are better off now than they were four years ago and the country’s standing is in ruins, pandemic, for a lot of white people George Floyd’s murder was a real wake up call as to what threats Black people face... I don’t think these people are going to brag about switching their Presidential vote from R to D, but they’re out there. They’re just not going to tell their in-your-face Trumper friends and neighbors the truth. |
Who is they? Please clarify. |
The silent Biden voters. Also, the silent Trump voters. Strangely, I almost never see analysis that recognizes how geographically concentrated HRC’s vote was. The current obsession with natural aggregates misses how important broader geographic support is to defeating Trump. |
Susan Rice was on the view earlier today. While I don't think she would be the best VP pick, she is brilliant and would be a great secretary of state. |
The only way she makes Secretary of State is if the Senate is controlled by Democrats. She got axed already by taking one for the team (ie HRC) at Obama’s request on Benghazi. Biden knows her chances are slim if the senate doesn’t go democratic and I am sure he remembers her loyalty. |
