Single Issue Voter: Controlling The Borders

America continued that legacy when it decided to go into these people's countries setting up and topping regimes, all in the same of capitalism.

These people cannot survive economically in their countries largely due to the Western system causing chaos there. So if they are streaming across the border, blame Congress, the DEA, the CIA and any other Western social structure.

I don't blame congress.

This problem could be solved tomorrow. Reinstitute the Remain in Mexico policy, and it's solved.

If you think a law we'll just stop people from coming here then. I bet you are really for gun control laws, aren't you? Because of the law says you shouldn't own a gun or you can't own a certain type of gun. Then no one will ever own that type of gun correct. Happy to solve the gun problem as well

Waiting for a Democrat to come and assure us that “most illegal immigrants show up at their hearings.” What a pathetic joke.

Mass Governor says it will cost 2 BILLION dollars next near to house migrant families.

That’s 2 Billion just for housing, let’s not forget about medical care and education. That is for next year. But with steady stream of migrants coming every day it will be another 2 Bilion the year after that and the year after that and so forth as there is no effort to stop even more from coming and coming.

Looking at the comments from Boston residents in the comment section, they are Pissed! There is no money for schools, roads are falling apart, the T is a disaster, but hey there is 2 billion we can spend on migrants!

Even blue Mass is pissed at their governor and Biden.

There is a huge backlash to this unchecked illegal immigration - not just here in the U.S. but also across Europe. And who got us into this mess in the first place? "Progressives."

+100
Sounds like European voters have finally wised up. Hopefully, the same will happen in the U.S.

Grow up. Republicans have put forth exactly what legislation needs to change to protect our border. “Progressive” Democrats are holding things up by not signing and moving it along.

This is absolutely the number one issue for me and millions of other Americans.

This woman will probably have an anchor baby by the time 2031 rolls around.

There's a huge backlog, because of how the laws are written, which requires they get a hearing before they can be deported. There's a huge backlog, because there aren't enough officials to hear the cases. There aren't enough officials, because any attempt to get more funding has been blocked. Guess who hasn't helped to change the laws? Republicans. Guess who keeps blocking funding that would help clear the backlog and get them deported sooner? Republicans.

You didn't and won't hear about any of that on FOX News but it's unfortunately true...

That is grade-a NONSENSE. They grandstand and pretend but haven't actually come up with any coherent legislation that would actually fix the issues. And, they aren't actually interested in fixing it, because it serves them better as a political wedge.

Gee if only the Democrats had introduced a bill to hire more judges to clear the backlog faster so that they had a date faster than nearly a decade away.

Oh they did? What did the GOP do with the bill, do you think?

I think the Biden admin could at least stop flying them in from other countries.

A repeat of 2012. The GOP wants this to remain a wedge issue rather than taking steps to actually deal with it.

So I hope people like OP understand what is happening here.

1995. Bill Clinton on illegal immigration.

What changed?

Bill Clinton, and the general Dem party, were not run in 1995 by leftist progressives hell-bent on destroying the country.

Can you cite any of this for us? Because dems here sound way more informed on the ins and outs of who has proposed and blocked what. And it very much seems like republicans are purposefully doing nothing. Since they shocked themselves with actually overturning Roe, they need a new wedge issue.

Take a look at the Russia-Ron Johnson tweet above.

In other words, completely disagree.
