Heard is not the one who initiated the lawsuit, and is not the one who demanded that cameras be allowed in the courtroom. There is someone in that room who wants to get another 15 minutes out of this, but it’s definitely not Heard.

I think the cameras prevent people being able to twist what happens. Seems smart in this case.

JD is already famous, so he would not need “15 min” of fame.

He couldn’t get work, so he needed to find some way to keep himself in front of a camera.

Although I have never been a fan of JD (didn't care for his role as Jack Sparrow for example), I can totally believe than the Op ed affected him career and money wise. I have never heard of AH until Aquaman and I have trouble agreeing with her claim that her career was on the rise and it was on a similar path to that of Jason Momoa ot Gal Gadot, I know she was in Aquaman but I can't honestly remember what she did in the movie. She was forgettable as Mera.

During the court proceedings, I just found JD more believable. With his slurred speech and stuttering and his unwillingness to look at her, he was able to bring out a vulnerable side that is often associated with an abused person. By contrast, AH displayed confidence (sometimes too much) and her tears didn't seem very genuine. She sure didn't give me the vibes of an abused person. Maybe both of them were coached to act the way they did. I just think JD performed better, maybe he was just the better actor.

Right? How delusional is that pp? Snickering, smirking, laughing, what an abuse victim!

I just see it as a defense mechanism against blatant lies. Sometimes, there is nothing you can do but laugh it off. Also, you gotta admit some of the defense testimony was nonsensical like that psychiatrist who based his opinion of JD on his characters in movies. The Pro Amber will not see it and just chalk it up to me being a fangirl

What is the deal with her imitating his outfits? She is a certified psychopath.

Most people wear suits to court, what should she wear in your esteemed opinion?

Yup and this gem:

Rottenborn reads a Depp text message: “If you want to be with a woman sexually then she is rightfully yours.
Depp: That’s ludicrous
Rottenborn reads another: I need, I want, I take.
Depp: Equally ludicrous.
He’s then shown a text message sent to his personal assistant. Depp claims he didn’t write it and accused Ben Rottenborn of writing it the night before. Rottenborn laughs and assures him that he did not write the text last night since it had long been admitted as evidence.

Is that in the video pp posted from yesterday? Do you know the time stamp? I made it about 18 minutes before I couldn’t deal with his garbage responses anymore.

Yes the video is on page 170 post 19:34. Start at 18:10 in video for the text messages exchange. Start at 3:10 for the black eye he had in Bangkok before the alleged train incident claiming Amber punched him on the train. 4 photos shown to Depp that his black eye existed prior to train claim. He of course argued about lighting and photoshopped hacks.

So his own legal team produced his own texts and his own, and them he accused defense counsel of having made them up the night before? That’s certifiable.

Paul MacCartney's ex wife, Heather Mills did this. I'd link pictures for you but don't know how. She also imitated his gestures to the crowd - a thumbs up on extended arm. He did it once and then she was doing it every day. Another total disgrace of humanity, that one.

“Total disgrace to humanity” because she also gave a thumbs up?

You are mental.

+1. It's bizarre how they ignore anything bad about him.

NP. Not just bizarre but deeply disturbing! They are ripping apart a woman for what? For not taking it and being perfect little housefrau but standing up for herself when she could? This is such a disturbing reflection of our society that truly, truly shows how we women are treated like objects and have not made much progress when it comes to out rights. Add the abortion laws and we are basically chattel in 2022.

Different poster. He’s gross. But so is she. She’s not “standing up for herself” when she can. She’s done some pretty bad things, too.

His legal team produced them in discovery. The copy entered into evidence was Bates numbered from Depp’s production, and Depp’s counsel did not object to their authenticity. He was lying about the texts not being his.

No darling. The thumb was just circus. What is a disgrace to humanity is Heather Mills claims she gave 80% of her money to charity. It was found she gave Zero. Similarly, Amber Heard said she had donated her divorce settlement in it's entirety to charity and it was found that she had not. So that's pretty disgraceful on both counts. I don't think you could disagree with that.

Wow, Heather Mills and AH, so much in common, they must have the same mental disorder.

The judge decided to have cameras to control the courthouse. There would be rioting crowds of people if they couldn't watch from home.

I can't find the Jason Momoa comments but those claiming there might have been more chemistry than wanted rumor, I'm betting she saw the newly single Momoa and decided to pounce. Only he didn't take the bait.

A couple reasons why I think Depp believers aren't posting as often:

- we get called disgusting names on this forum even if we are
dv victims/survivors sharing our point of view

- we're too busy watching both sides of court, not cherry
picking
