Not only did they not come clean on who the audience was, they edited the questions to make sure that the person saying that they voted for him already was cut out. |
yet he's ahead in PA, GA, NC. How, how, how? I'll never ever understand. |
Since 2016 we have been predicting the end of the validity of polls. And yet that’s where the focus remains even when they are consistently wrong. I think it’s very seductive to believe we can know the future. I want to know too! But the polls defy common sense so it’s hard to believe they are accurate. |
He's running a Potemkin campaign. It's wild. |

Pp. Don’t really think there is an alternative. Which is why we still do polls. And the media is definitely not going to give up polls. It’s like the advertising. No one thinks it really matters but if you’re not advertising it’s a message that you have no money, therefore no support. On the whole, we’d be better served by a significantly shorter campaign season and rank choice voting. But I can’t see that happening. |
The media loves polls because it provides them with content about in endless circles. And by the time they are out of breath another round of polling comes in for them to discuss.
Ad nauseum for six months straight. Polling is just content to fill dead air time. |
Not ask at all and just focus on issues and campaigning. |
+1 Media has gotten so blessed dumb. They could be talking about thousands of things - like women forced to carry their rapist’s pregnancy to term or women who were trying to have children dying for want of a simple abortion. Or the GOP’s ongoing and close relationships with Russia. The dark money that made the once Supreme Court into a political tribunal. All sorts of things. But they need the polls to talk endlessly about nothing. |
