+1 I wouldn’t go so far as to say that my dad is dumb, but he’s showing clear signs of cognitive decline and I think what seems insane to us coming out Trump’s mouth just sounds normal to him.

Not voting is often tied to your excitement about your candidate. There are plenty of people paying lip service to Trump or Harris, who just aren't going to show up at the polls, fill in a mail-in ballot or do anything at all.
