Any other families finally had enough of DC?

Yup, corrupt as hell but Gray did a much better job running the city.

I just don’t understand how Bowser is able to avoid public accountability. If this woman dies it might be the tipping point.

Who would you like to see once Bowser takes a bow?

You literally been through the worst times of DC from the 90s-00s and now is your tipping point?

Or do you live west of the park?

We are leaving this city as soon as possible! My child was threatened with a gun on our own street and the police did nothing about it despite a clear identification and NAME of the teenager who illegally had the gun!

If you look at the demographics since 2000, a massive amount of progress has been made. Year by year, the element is being pushed out of this city. Of course there have been casualties along the way and as the territory run by ghetto rats grows smaller each day there will unfortunately be more conflicts. By 2030, however, D.C. will have a responsible, non-corrupt Mayor based on how the demographics are trending. And the moment that happens, the final push to civilize the few remaining areas of lawlessness in D.C. will happen over the course of 1-2 years. Don't give up!

I love how the optimistic poster who believes in the future of DC is still admitting that it will take almost a decade until we can have a mayor that is responsible and not corrupt. (Which is such a low bar. We are not even imagining a great mayor. Just responsible and non-corrupt).

Give us some credit, we are transforming a city that only 20-25 years ago actually reelected a mayor who was smoking crack on tv with a prostitute! We are in the process of discrediting and marginalizing those whose world's view lead to the erection of a statute of Marion Epilove Barry in front of the District's headquarters, only w/o the crack pipe. This is not easy work, but a huge amount has been accomplished.

You do have a point! (It’s not a point that casts DC in a very attractive light though.)

Who would you like to see once Bowser takes a bow?

Robert White seems very sensible, but I have a sneaky suspicion he would turn into a Bowser 2.0.

It would be good for the city if Mendelson was in charge, but that would be unlikely to happen.

In the south this would be handled by the extended family.
