I would have a lot of respect to you and your faith if you would take at least one of the DACA children, house him (not necessary at your house, just buy him a small apartment), pay for his private school from K-12 grade, and then pay for his community college. Then I would have respect for your believe. What are you doing now is saying, just because I am a Christian, everybody has to pay for my believe.

How do you know how much money I give to charities and which ones?

I don't know how much you give to the charities, but I know for sure you did not raise any single DACA child. This is totally different issues.

The test is whether you raise a Dreamer? You are truly a moron.

DP. How many have you hired to take care of your children, mow your lawn, fix your roof, fix anything around the home, etc. how many places have you refused to spend your money once it's dawned on you that the business use illegal/undocumented immigrants? The federal government won't go after businessses that hire illegals because the Feds hire contractors who in turn staff illegals.

I am a pp, and I've never hired any illegal immigrant. I had Ukrainian nanny who was a US citizen, I had maid from Philippines who was a PLR. We always tend to our garden, and my husband always cut the grass. I fixed a lot of things around my house by myself, including painting, wiring, tile work, replacing faucets, etc. I used contractors in past who's employees were from south america, but there were no way for me to check his employees legal status. I just picked the most reputable contractor in the area with over 20 years of experience. I agree that there should be a strict regulation about hiring non-citizens. I don't mind to pay a higher price for quality work.

Have you ever eaten in a restaurant or bought produce? Because I guarantee you that undocumented workers were involved. So be quiet. If you really cared about this issue, you would knocking down the door to Orange Man's office and demand that Sessions get to work on going after the Employers. But you won't. You'll just scapegoat the people involved.

Shameful and so un-American.

I am not ashamed as we are growing a lot of produce by ourselves, I buy milk and all dairy produce from the farm owned by Americans who do not employ illegals. Please, do not tell me to be quite, it is a free country. And do not tell me what to do, or I will tell you where to go.

It is not just Session who doesn't go after the private business. Neither Lynch, nor Holder prosecuted people who hired illegals. I think they are all in the same pot and all of them are responsible for creating this situation.

PP, why do you even respond to the nonsense this idiot posted?

The term chain migration has been discussed enough in recent months that I need not define it here. The point is that by making skillful use of the parent and sibling provisions in the law, together with the fact that if A is granted a green card then his/her spouse gets one too, immigrant hopefuls often assemble long chains in which the first link has no connection whatsoever to the later ones. This is an abuse, contrary to the American spirit.

And in spite of the protestations by Democrats these days that ending chain migration is “anti-family,” the fact is that in the last 10 years there has been strong support in BOTH parties for ending it. Contrary to the efforts by some to paint Trump as an ogre for proposing an end to chain migration, the liberal democracies Canada and Australia don’t allow it either.

Among other reasons for its policy, Canada in particular wanted to remedy the huge expense to the government of providing for the immigration of elderly parents. In the U.S., this means SSI cash, Medicare health benefits, senior housing and so on. I recall seeing a statistic somewhere that 80% of the medical expenses one incurs in one’s lifetime come in the final two years of life. All this for people who have never worked a day in their life in the U.S.

Because everyone deserves a shot at a better life, especially those fleeing violence. You are not more deserving of freedom and opportunity and safety just because you had the good luck to be born north of an arbitrary, man-made boundary rather than south of it.

And of course, just because something is illegal doesn’t make it immoral, and in fact, sometimes doing what is right requires breaking the law. Did you not learn about the Underground Railroad in school?

We should probably import 5 to 10 million Russians in here and just handout driver's licenses so they can vote. Why not?

When President Donald Trump looks out into the crowd gathered on Capitol Hill to hear his State of the Union address next Tuesday, he will be looking into the faces of undocumented immigrants.

Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and more than 23 other Democrats in Congress each plan to bring a Dreamer, a recipient of protections in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, to Trump’s annual message to a joint session of Congress.

A number of senators and representatives have said immigrants and Dreamers will be in the crowd. ABC News confirmed this with a list provided by a congressional official. During the address, the president traditionally outlines his legislative plans.

In a statement early Friday, Pelosi said that the White House’s latest immigration plan, released Thursday, “is an act of staggering cowardice which attempts to hold the Dreamers hostage to a hateful anti-immigrant scheme.”

While it would be nice if it could be, the US can not be the battered shelter of the world. Our economy can't handle everyone that's in a bad place. So the best solution is to be able to take a look at those who want to enter the US and help those most in need who will simultaneously be of the most benefit to the US. Illegal immigration works against that and supports criminals who take advantage of people in bad situations at the same time. It's not helping the overall problem what so ever. It's making it worse.

We seem to be doing just fine. If you want to decide who will live and who will die based on their utility, if you want to fight with your fellow man over scraps while the rich and powerful enjoy their banquets, go ahead. Those just aren’t my values, but you do you.
