Isn't the kid riding with Brienne of Tarth also a Baratheon bastard from Robert's escapades in town?

No. That's Podrick Payne.

King Robert's illegitimate son (one of many of Robert's little bastards in the books) was Gendry, who sailed away and hasn't been heard from since. This was a mix of two such male children that appeared in the books (there is another such daughter, who helped Sansa in the Eyrie where her cra-cra aunt Lysa lived).

So many loose ends ...

Whatever happened to Robert Baratheons son that was a friend of Arya? Is he still alive?

Does anyone feel sad for Tommen? So sweet and naive. He's got to know he's going down. (The witch told Cersi she'd lose three of her children.). Momma's back but wifey is still in dungeon. I'd like to see a real face off between Cersei and her DIL (although the brains really seem to reside in the DILs grandmother). I wonder if they'll take each other out or join forces to defend Tommen's crown.

I have an alternate theory that Sansa may end up with Robert Baratheon's son (can't remember his name). That union would make them serious contenders for the Iron Throne.
Tyrion could be a contender as well if he's Aegon's son and married (he still is technically married) to Sansa.
I think Sansa is in a good position to take down the Lannisters- maybe better than anyone else. Plus, I think she's fed up with being a weakling and ready to kick some ass.

Another interesting take, but how was Sansa's marriage to the flayed man evil incarnate guy legitimized? Or was it? Did they say her marriage to Tyrian was coerced as well as unconsummated and therefore void? I can't remember.

I agree Sansa is about to come into her own. Watch out.

I also wonder if in the end Westeros will be run by women leaders. They're taking over the world while the men are fighting with swords. The only exceptions are the white walkers.

PP here- yes, the Bolton's may have tried to anull the marriage to Tyrion- so there's that. However, I still think think Sansa could end up with Gendry. The people liked Robert but hated the Lannisters- so, it could be a palatable alternative for the Iron Throne.

I wonder in the end if Jon will have to side with his aunt (Dany) against Sansa or Sansa against Dany? Or if they divide the world up?

I keep hoping that one day at least two of the stark children reunite. Maybe Bran will be the one to facilitate a reunion -- in any other worldly way.

What is the current thinking on Rickon's fate?

I think the assume Tyrion is dead and do Sansa is free to marry.

Yes. He was also almost burned to death by the red woman, but he escaped in a boat.

That's not Gendry with Brienne. That is Tyrion's squire Podrick.

Different characters. Pod is riding with Brienne. He used to be Tyrion's squire in King's Landing. Gendry is Robert's bastard. He became friendly with Arya on the trip to the Wall. Eventually, Melisandre (the red woman) found him and took him to Stannis. Ser Davos released him, and he was last seen escaping by boat.
