I lost 60 pounds in 5 months without using GLP-1.

OP is a fake.

Even resting, most adults need at least 1,200 calories just to keep their bodies running. On 700 calories you would die within months, after your body consumed all of your muscle tissue, including your heart muscle. Trying to do that while walking for 6 hours every day, as OP claims, is called anorexia and will lead to death in fairly short order, likely from heart failure.

It's not hard to eat less once your body starts burning fat in the mornings, especially when you skip breakfast and start the furnace

I was way heavier in years past. I may have been as high as 290. But my last medical weigh in was 265 in 2016. I'm a mid-height female.

In 2019 I somehow got a 2nd wind and all was cool until I broke a leg and then in 2023 my basement gym had a flood.

And other stuff like my parent dying from covid and 'gestures at everything'

My leg is now healed, I still get out of bed slowly in the dark hours of the early AM and make sure my leg holds me. My spirit has long needed a boost and I make way too many jokes about how my time is probably "up" etc.

But today Jan 1 I got 60 minutes walking on both legs on the treadmill today, the one I keep in my living room now. I had to do it in 10 minute increments but I did it

I love this, keep going! I broke my foot a little over a year ago; the accompanying tendon damage lingered and my health/fitness has been terrible since then. Just got back on the treadmill today, goal is 3 miles/day (1 after each meal) for a few weeks before starting Couch to 5K. Plus keto, which is the only diet that has ever worked for me. Feeling optimistic for the first time in a long time!

I don’t think she is fake but I do believe she has just traded overeating for anorexia and refuses to admit there is anything wrong with it. She is starving herself and is wanting pats on the back for it.

Intake 700 calories plus exercising off, what, 200 calories day? Yes, disordered in every way and she would end up in the hospital for sure.

Actually walking what she says she is would be more than 300 calories. Starvation.

if she is walking the amount she says, she would be burning off over 1k calories. plus let’s says being generous and saying her resting is like 1400 calories burned a day. so she is only eating 700 calories and burning off more than 2k. That’s not a calorie deficit-that’s starvation-plain and simple.

She had a LOT of fat to burn. She's fine.

At what point of your life was that and for how long? Are you now at that weight now?

Is it also showing 15 miles, and are you walking for 6 hours?

30k steps took me between 3 and 4 hours... over time i developed very impressive (by my standards) cardiovascular capacity. i can now walk on 20% incline for 40 minutes without breathing heavily.

Ok so you have no job or other responsibilities. Makes sense. No normal person has 3-4 hours to devote to walking a day.

Plus, her body has adjusted to starvation mode.

OP here. I am not recommending this to anyone, but as for myself, I am far from frail, I feel and look great, my labs are fantastic and I am looking forward to my walks every day. I am no more completely invisible and I just fit comfortably into my size 28 jeans that I haven't worn in 15 years. I can suddenly climb many stairs and steep hills easily where I used to struggle with a floor or two.

I experienced exactly zero pain over the past 5 months. I was always good at walking, could walk long distances where people who were much more fit would complain - I just wasn't doing it enough and consistently. When I reach my goal weight I plan to maintain at least 20k steps, though to be honest, on days when I only do that much (e.g. travel etc), I feel like I want to walk more.

You are not walking "30,000" steps a day.

Not OP but my ex husband walks 20-25k steps a day. Yes, hours.

Walking 15 miles (30K steps) takes between 4.5-7.5 hours depending on your pace. How is that possible? Do you work?
