I lost 60 pounds in 5 months without using GLP-1.

Not op but I don't think this disordered at all. You have been programed by tic toc to follow some supplement pushing celeb and forget the old fashioned ways.

the old fashioned way of starving yourself? I mean it certainly works if that’s what you mean.

My best weight loss plan was 10K steps a day

It's not hard to eat less once your body starts burning fat in the mornings, especially when you skip breakfast and start the furnace

I was way heavier in years past. I may have been as high as 290. But my last medical weigh in was 265 in 2016. I'm a mid-height female.

In 2019 I somehow got a 2nd wind and all was cool until I broke a leg and then in 2023 my basement gym had a flood.

And other stuff like my parent dying from covid and 'gestures at everything'

My leg is now healed, I still get out of bed slowly in the dark hours of the early AM and make sure my leg holds me. My spirit has long needed a boost and I make way too many jokes about how my time is probably "up" etc.

But today Jan 1 I got 60 minutes walking on both legs on the treadmill today, the one I keep in my living room now. I had to do it in 10 minute increments but I did it

I am the OP. This is the healthy way, ok? I am not "crash dieting" or "restricting". I eat what I want, when I want it. it's just that I can't handle large quantities of food anymore and I lost interest in some types of food (e.g. bread, pasta) almost entirely. when I eat larger amounts, I stop eating for a while, instead of adding twice as much - my eating now follows negative feedback as it is supposed to, not a positive one.

I am not waiting to "eat normally" or "when is this going to be over". It is already over. This is my life now and I love it.

Perhaps what you need to know is that I used to be thin. So this is not an entirely new ground for me. I was overweight and then obese class 1 and then even dipped into obese class 2 category for a total span of 15 years. Not I am back to being a normal person that I used to be - a person who doesn't eat food for 3 people. Stop making me some kind of villain for figuring out how to get there.

There are so many red flags to me about this post ... what even is an Obese Class 2 category

Just say 15 years, not a "total span of 15 years" ... "now I am back to being a normal person that I used to be"

Like no one talks like this

I guess the bots like to divide people among weight loss lines now, too

It's not even a competition like class warfare, you can literally own your own body activities and intake

It's not like the illegals are taking your thin body that you deserve

"Perhaps what you know is that I used to be thin" ... this is not a natural way of speaking

"this is the healthy way, OK?"

This is the way scammers speak when they are doing their relationship bits

"Just send me the numbers on the gift card, OK?"

Thing about a GLP is it helps you eat normally.

OP’s 700 daily calories and 30k steps isn’t normal. Or sustainable.

Or healthy.

Sure it is. Just try it. It's not bad if you a knowledgeable about food.

"Perhaps what you know is that I used to be thin"

At what point of your life was that and for how long? Are you now at that weight now?

The hostility to the OP is interesting. Someone lost weight without a drug by eating smaller portions and walking a lot, and that can't possibly be healthy; instead, it's healthier to take a GLP-1. Do I have that right?
