2010G BSC Coming For FVU

As a parent, I just care that my daughter is developing and that she is well positioned to play in college at the highest level her abilities allow. And the bottomline is that all this shadiness by clubs and jockeying for players just hurts the girls. It hurts the confidence of the girls who may ride the pine more now. And it hurts the team chemistry on both clubs. Coaching U16 girls is more than running good drills. There are confidence issues and social issues.

It sounds like the girls at both clubs are now going to suffer in those areas because of bad decisions made by men at clubs that only care about profits and power.

This is youth league, kids should come first, not ego of men. Where the hell are the women coaches? Women need to step up and help shape the future!

Hey Coach, good to see *you* checking in!

I’m not a coach. I’m just not a crazy parent like you.

Now I KNOW who you are. You have been messy for years and it is not doing your girls any good.

Probably parents that are in the know and the Grandfather rule is over after this season. Bethesda to GA for ‘26-‘27. Along with many other clubs.

It will be a big deal when it happens but when parents, coaches and players see how many good ECNL clubs are moved, everyone will relax. It’s going to flip flop just like It did years ago DA/ECNL to ECNL/GA. It happens but just remember the ECNL clubs that flip will still receive just as much attention and continue to dominate. Don’t be surprised to see GA clubs relegated to Aspire League when this happens.

Enjoy your final ECNL season Bethesda. Sorry FVU, it’s going to get even uglier after this year.

Get your popcorn ready February 2026.

More drama in youth soccer than the pros.

I don't know, did you see the stuff some parents pulled over the USMNT a few years ago when their precious DS wasn't getting enough minutes from Berhalter?

Speaking of which, how many female head coaches are there in ECNL/GA in our area. Just the 2010 Mclean GA? MM stepped back at ARL after getting her team to the playoffs must be a story there. LO stepped back at FVU I guess there is a story there too. Who else?

Has LO ever had a team in ECNL finish above .500? Maybe the story is that she’s not a good enough coach for that level?
