What awfully jealous people. Fantastic role model behavior for your children to replicate.

More drama in youth soccer than the pros.

What are MV's credentials? I don't hear much positive about him.

He has solid credentials. You can actually look this up pretty easily.

I heard he read a book on soccer.

Was it soccer for dummies?

I believe it’s spelled Onion. Lot of stinky layers to peel back.

Oh, Onion guy is back again! So clever! Same response every time. The hundredth time. Not even connected to Union/FVU, but you need to get a life if you think “onion” is clever, over and over and over... Anybody so determined to say this lame nonsense so often, must have been bitterly rejected by the “onion”. Do tell why you are so bitter that you troll so constantly with this weak “joke”?

He’s right there’s a foul smell emanating from your club just look at this thread over the last several days.

There may be a mild stink now for FVU 10 but its going to get vey stanky for BSC 10 who could legititmately miss the playoffs next spring with another mid-table performance like this year. NA Cup is the golden ticket they may need again just to make playoffs. Unlike FVU parents who are just happy to be there, BSC doesnt go West for the photo ops, they intend to win. When winning doesn't happen the stench will be rancid. Good luck to all, seriously we will all need it in this recruitment year!

The winner of the NA Cup or MA Cup won't get the golden ticket next year. It will be just to add games for them to play.

If your kids a baller, doesnt matter if its GA or ECNL, or if your team is supposedly better, quality shows and is easy to see when a good player is on the ball. Good luck to everyone in their journey, everyones path is different. Weaker and mid level players focus on getting yourself better (you need to be getting minutes) and focus less on who is going to win the conference, or who is going to make the final 8. Guess what... lots of those girls that made the final 8 are not going to sniff a top 25 team in college. Its a long process in which you need to continuously develop, pick up new skills and learn as you go. At the end of the day while its a team sport, when you get to recruiting your being evaluated as an individual...so focus on you.

Like I said, not my club. And I agree about the foul smell. But that doesn't mean he doesn't need to get some new material.

Ha! It actually exists. MV should probably review it as a refresher course.

You're dumb. It's in the grammar genius. Learn to write before you call people dumb. Typical Onion parent.

You'RE still dumb if you don't understand that VYS is in the Union

Which club isn’t in the Union this year…seems they’ve taken over most of NOVA.

With all that talent pool FVU better perform.

Exactly! Stop calling them Onion! VYS is an OG member and probably the 4th best Union team.

Made it two years in a row. One year to Semi-finals. WTH are you even talking about. Once we won NA Cup, nobody cared about league games. We were already in. And you think we are going to worse? Give me whatever you are on!!!

I think you are just smelling your own breath. Have fun in your own misery.

Nobody cared? So you lost games and finished midtable because you didn’t care?

Only ones suffering are the parents who are realizing by u16 their money cannot make their DD any faster nor more technical

The problem with the ECNL is the coaches, and some parents, get so caught up in the winning and power. As a parent, I just care that my daughter is developing and that she is well positioned to play in college at the highest level her abilities allow. And the bottomline is that all this shadiness by clubs and jockeying for players just hurts the girls. It hurts the confidence of the girls who may ride the pine more now. And it hurts the team chemistry on both clubs. Coaching U16 girls is more than running good drills. There are confidence issues and social issues.

It sounds like the girls at both clubs are now going to suffer in those areas because of bad decisions made by men at clubs that only care about profits and power.

It starts with the parents. So I would blame them first. Coaches and clubs are just doing what they want.
