Except for a few months when almost everyone was locked down doing nothing, gas prices were higher than before pandemic.

I was referring to those few months when things were cheap because we were in lock down. People credit Trump for that.

I attended public schools in a university town as well as with some scientific research facilities, mainly big pharma. While I was from modest means, my siblings and I were very bright and always in top classes with the sons and daughters of university profs and scientists. There is one in particular who occasionally pops in my FB feed - his dad was an acclaimed scientist and the son has a fairly good career in business in the region where we grew up - BA and MBA. But wow, he rolls out unvarnished MAGA TPs at the drop of a hat. There is no nuance, not a bit, in what he posts. If I see a post from him in the AM, then I know it must be a top story on Fox. He was such a smart kid, but know there is a rigidity to his thinking I would have never guessed from when we were kids.

What are you talking about? I got my first DOGE check this weekend, in the amount of $13,726. You didn't get yours? Maybe you should take to Truth Social and ask why.
