What if Biden does not bow out?

The Democrat National Convention in August should be a lot of fun to watch.
Between the angst over the candidate, the protests that are bound to happen, and the crime..........
Will they be able to shield attendees from the crime?

As far as I’m concerned, DNC created this mess in the primary by ignoring the majority’s opinion that Biden is too old. And left-wing media was complicit in covering up his mental decline. Voters are not to blame for not wanting to elect a candidate who is too far gone.

And here it comes...birtherism 2.0

Probably true since most of DE’s population is in Philly’s orbit…

If you are born on US soil, you are a natural-born citizen, regardless of your parents' status... unless you are born of foreign diplomats, or if you are born of enemies of the US designated as such and occupying US soil in a hostile manner.

If you are born abroad from US citizen parents, the assumption is that you are natural-born, but there exists a slight doubt in the language of the 14th amendment.

MAGAs should do well to review their Constitution.

The parents of Kamala Harris were not foreign diplomats, and were not enemies of the US in a hostile takeover of US soil. They gave birth to her on US soil.

Therefore Kamala Harris is a natural born citizen. Furthermore, she is more than 35, has been a resident for more than 14 years, and therefore fulfills ALL of the requirements to be eligible to run for President of the United States.

Let's not forget that Democratic PACs deliberately donated large sums to far MAGA candidates in the 2022 midterms to get them on the ballot as extremists, making politics even more polarized and preventing moderates from winning. So anything the Republicans do in these kinds of electoral trickery can only be accepted as fair enough. Reap what ye sow.

Do the voters of Philly have anything to do with electing a senator in Delaware? Maybe you were in that group of people he was speaking to?

If she only had a brain.

Republicans WANT Trump to face Biden in the fall. Why would we want the Democrats to put a better candidate forward? We are happy with the current opponent.

Whether Biden drops out or not, the debate was memorable in my mind for one detail no one has mentioned.

An elderly guy goes to an event sick by his own admission and then heads to Waffle House afterwards WITHOUT A MASK. How far we have come!

Imagine this happening only 18 months ago when being a covid scold with an armchair degree in virology and epidemiology was all the rage. Oh, the pearl clutching at the sight of this dreadfully crass behavior!

America has shed its magical thinking—on this front, at least.

Onward!

As I recall if there were at least three candidates in the Democratic primary. Biden crystal Lady and Dean Phillips, who came in third behind Crystal lady.

If you want to blame someone, put it on Mitch McConnell, and the Republicans who had a chance to take Trump out after the insurrection. They chose not to and we are in this mess.

Good point. But, nobody really believes he was sick. It was an excuse.

On another note...... 2nd gentleman, Doug Emhoff was diagnosed with Covid over the weekend. No big headlines about that either.

LOL.
Yeah - and the debates between those three candidates were on fire!!!! LOL. That was quite a primary the DNC had.

Nice attempt at trying to blame Republicans for your piss poor selection of a candidate.

There was plenty of opportunity for people to elevate and rally around younger candidates.

Reminder:

That is her job. She's VP. She cannot overshadow the president no matter what.
