What if Biden does not bow out?

Biden:
Cognitively not there

Will surround himself with yes men and hidden figures. We won’t really know who is running the country (but presumably they aren’t wackos and have decent political experience)

Dem voters are voicing displeasure in him as a candidate and asking him to step aside. He and his inner circle are ignoring the very voters he claims he wants to “serve.”

US looks vulnerable if we elect such an incompetent man

I’m (NC voter) leaning toward holding my nose and voting for Trump. I think we have to send a message to Biden, his yes men, and the DNC that they can’t shove an incompetent candidate down our throats.

Dem voters have done no such thing. It is certain members of the party and pundits.

The voters in the primary voted overwhelmingly for Biden.

I don't think anyone doubts that Biden intends to stay in. It's the growing pressure within the party that will eventually force him out. Biden can either exit gracefully or not. The former path gives Democrats a better shot of keeping the White House. The latter path throws the party into disarray and boosts Trump.

Thanks so much to all the careless people that voted for Trump and Biden during the 2024 primaries. Smart people you are. Really.

+1. I am going to write in a candidate if there’s no viable Democrat on the ticket. One is too far aged, the other does not seem ethical.

I hope you’re trolling. Vote for Biden and trust that there will be good people in place to make sure this country runs well. The president is just the manager. I have zero confidence that Trump or anyone who would work for him has the best interest of the American people at heart.

I think this is a fact that’s lost on alot of people. The President is not really a decision maker who acts on his own. He is someone who appoints the best experts in their fields to positions and brings in the best advisors to help him make decisions.

Regardless of how things end up with President Biden’s health, trust in the experts this administration has to make the right decisions for America.

There are some decisions that only a president can make. That is why we elect a president.
These decisions cannot and should not be left to unelected bureaucrats.
And, the Biden administration people - the "experts" - have proven to be incompetent.

+100

I find it extremely creepy that Jill appears completely fine with trotting Biden around in his state, and acting like nothing is wrong. It seems like elder abuse.

I think she’s been fine as a First Lady. But, I think on a personal level, she’s quite flawed. Like, she’s bad a life or something. Apparently their dogs have bitten a bunch of secret service members and Joe and Jill aren’t handling it well. And their son Hunter is a mess. Other family members also seem messy at times. It just seems like she doesn’t have great sense on a personal level.

Most wives would encourage their husbands not to run again in this situation. Either she just really loves that White House life or she just isn’t that smart.

And I say this as someone who has thought she’s done a fine job in her official capacity as FL.

Yeah but at least in North Carolina, there was no other Dem candidate. And in any event, the primary was before the horrible debate performance.

Rebuking, ridiculing, ostracizing, and dehumanizing (MAGA, Russian bot, destroying democracy, etc) anyone who'd raise factually-based criticism or concerns. Refusing to address the problem when it became unavoidable. Allowing the party to self-destruct rather than taking easy steps to avoid the issue in the first place.

Imagine if they had tried applying similar principles to something important. Like social justice, or war, or whatever. I guess it's a good think they haven't.

Why would America want democrats in charge of anything? They don’t care 1% about America.
Trump told you to say that. You’re like a Manson follower. Think for yourself

Bolded is the simply unsolvable problem.

Yup.

Only option for Democrats is to stage some kind of coup d'état. I am sure some Biden supporter somewhere is already planning how.

Good luck to them. Hunter the crack head and Jill the former bar maid are guarding their prize pumpkin. Shielding it from predators. Feeding it milk.

Sounds like the crazy rants of a typical Trump supporter.

Biden is a prize pumpkin, guarded by Hunter and Jill. He’s orange now, too. Haven’t you noticed his spray tans and new tan makeup?
He’s started wearing orange makeup and after the debate.

thanks for proving my point.

Thanks for illustrating the typical democrat response:

Below is a comprehensive guide to Stages of Democrat. These Stages of Democrat are applied to every situation and topic:

Stage One: don’t believe your eyes!
Stage Two: you are a racist/bigot/-phobic!!
Stage Three: you are a racist/bigot/-phobic, and crazy!!!
Stage Four: it’s photoshopped/a cheap fake, and you are a racist, bigoted, -phobic, crazy person!!!!
Stage Five: silence or defiant denial of reality.

Biden just told some people in Philadelphia that Philly helped him get elected as senator of Delaware. And they cheered and clapped. You’ve got the candidate you deserve.

GOP will sue to fracture the Dem vote. I wish the political class would stop falling for the BS.

Then welcome to the Christo-Fascist regime and reign of the Trump family.

Decent cognitive ability? Not even remotely. Boats will sink if you put batteries on them and then you have to jump to the sharks? Windmill cancer? We have wildfires because they didn't rake the forests and so the trees exploded? Nobody will notice if I lie about a hurricane and draw sharpie lines on the map?

Trump needs to bow out and step down every bit as much, if not more than Biden does. It's insane that the media figures calling for Biden to step down aren't saying the same about Trump. This election needs a total reset, without Trump or Biden.

LOL.
Projection and an attempt to divert attention from the cognitively impaired oval office resident.

Trump: being a politician
Biden: dementia, worse by the day
