I'm not so sure about that. They still have to substantiate everything which would include carefully examining phone records and communications, talking with acquaintances, forensic testing on the knife, etc. I expect it to take a few weeks.

I think the husband has had enough investigator training to know how to handle his situation.

You all watch way too much TV and think you know way more about this kind of stuff than you really do. All of these assumptions, theories, etc. And acting like you know how people think is pathetic. You all need a life and a reality check. You are all clueless and no nothing about this situation and need to get over yourselves.

So what do you think?

I'd be shocked if LE hasn't figured out who the stabber is already. Stabbing is a crime that generates a lot of evidence. Blood, fingerprints, knife, etc. There was no time to clean the crime seen. And they know the husband fired the gun. Christine was also still alive when the paramedics arrived.

Yes but if DH said he didn't know Joe but phone/computer records show otherwise, they need to see if this was premeditated or a crime of passion or self defense.

The guy in the photos is not the guy that comes up when I look for a Joseph N Ryan in Springfield. A LinkedIn of another male who has the same birthday shows up. How do you know it's the guy in the larping photos?

Larping guy is the one that I see on Facebook, current location LA.

If I needed to be reminded of what an outlier I am, the fact that it was apparently so common for posters here never to have heard of LARPing does the job.

LOL

Because I LARPed with him for years. I am also in one of the pictures that I posted, but with my face covered up for my privacy.

Approaching two weeks. How long do investigations take?

If they suspect the husband of foul play you should expect it to be much longer for any updates. They normally watch their suspect for awhile. The question is whether the husband planned the whole thing from the very beginning or if he just snapped OR if he really did walk in on a crime. Only three possibilities.

I think you're right. I think the longer this plays out, the more likely it is that the husband is in trouble.
