In WW2 about 40 US general and flag officers died. Many though were plan crashes incluidng Nathan Beford Forrest III and a guy named Stonewall Jackson. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._general_officers_and_flag_officers_killed_in_World_War_II That is really not a lot. |
Owe they bank a little money the bank owns you. Owe the bank a lot of money you own the bank. |
Even if every one of those stats were exaggerated by 50%, this has been an unmitigated disaster for the Russians.
If they ARE correct numbers, then it’s even worse than a disaster. Too bad we don’t have a functional ABM system right now that could reliably stop Russian missiles. Because this would be THE time for NATO to strike Russia and end them as a threat once and for all. I think the Chinese are evaluating whether now might just be the time to go after Siberia. |
The Chinese aren't worried. They get all of Russia as their serfs if Putin survives. |

Another embarrassing planning and logistics failure |
That’s amazing. Their encrypted phones need 3G but they destroyed the towers so now they have to use unsecured phones in Ukraine. Besides the OpSec failure, the war crimes indictments can write themselves. |
IN WWII we lost 3 2 star and up flag officers to hostile fire. Russia has already equaled that number. It really is a lot. |
China passed Russia a long time ago. Russia is not an after thought to China. |

Poland to supply the U.S. with its entire stockpile of MIG-29 jets, free of charge. The planes are then expected to be shipped to Ukraine. The Polish government asked other NATO members to follow the country’s example. |
Better comparison would be Afghanistan and Iraq wars. How many generals did we lose to hostile fire? Answer one. |
Poland is giving its entire fleet of Mig29s to Ukraine! |
