Since Daphne is the person who found Tanya in the water, I could see her taking a proprietary interest in Tanya’s story and following the investigation of her death and the settlement of her estate through the news. I could see her telling a fellow guest “You know that dead socialite Tanya McQuaid? Dateline did a story about her? I actually found her during our last trip to a White Lotus. It’s so sad that her husband hired the mafia to kill her…” thus giving the audience the 411 on what happens to Greg that way.

Greg isn’t a charismatic enough actor to waste time on next season.

This sounds reasonable. I hope it's the case.

And I hope the next show is set in....Mexico.

It's confirmed it will be Asia.

Which is where the Maldives are.

Sounds similar to Hawaii then. Unless they make it about the India angle more

Yes, it does.

Honestly I doubt they will do the maldives. As a location it doesn't have everything they look for I don't think. Island resorts in the maldives are really insular so I think the 'employees/locals' angle would be much more contrived. I heard they were scouting Japan and I could see that or Thailand over the Maldives.

Love the look on Tom Hollander’s face as he’s dying and she asks “is Greg having an affair?” Same look as when she asks “is she the queen of Sicily?”

Comic gold mixed in with the drama

Omg I know. Jennifer Coolidge is such a gem because I 100% believed every inch of that scene.

Both of them were amazing.

No late-30s freckled blonde who cares about their skin is doing that.

Yup. Especially with so many umbrellas to be had and lovely beach assistants who could help with them.

I've been looking at Daphne's sun-damaged chest the whole season. It's pretty bad for late 30's. I hope it's makeup for the show, because the actress is only 32! So maybe being a freckled blonde and laying out in the sun is realistic.

Imagine the delusion of feeling superior to Meghann Fahy

I don't get it. She's nice looking, but not drop-dead. I live in NYC and see women just as pretty if not prettier every day. People see blonde hair (even dyed) and lose their damn minds.

I think she’s really pretty especially in that girl next door way. I actually love the freckles and the reddish blonde hair. It’s very all natural.

I don't know how it can be natural if it's not her natural hair color...

When are we going to retire the “girl next door” trope. The girls next door to me, on both sides. an Asian person with black hair and eyes, and the girl to the left Indian with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

Okay, kids. Time to move on.

I think next season should have Cameron and Daphne meet the young newlywed couple from season 1 and the bros can have a douche-off

No more Cameron and Daphne. Their story is played out, nothing left to explore.

See, all that had to happen was break the head statue.

She snorted enough coke to choke a horse, and she seemed ok considering she’s presumably been clean since her college days and has the metabolism of a late, late middle aged woman.

My guess is they thought she might OD that night in front of a bunch of witnesses.

She’s clearly burned through a lot of crucial brain cells and her asking that question makes me think up until the very end she really only kind of connected the dots. Yes they were trying to kill her, and Greg stood to inherit the spoils, but in her mind, was he really in on it? Poor Greg being taken advantage of by the gays…

If she’d lived she would have gone back to Greg with a story to tell about she saved them both from the gays. It’s like the sad women who can catch their DHs in the embrace of another woman butt naked in the bathroom floor, and the husband can say “it wasn’t me” and the wives by it, anything to preserve the status quo. The Greg was awful to her. Really, really awful.

Being rich, damaged and dumb is such a waste.

+1. I really enjoyed them this season but largely because Meghan Fahy was so good in the role and the dynamic with Harper and Ethan was fascinating. But on their own, I’m not sure what else there is. Especially if they go the religion/spirituality route because the whole thing with Cam/Daphne is that they are shallow and incurious. Which made them perfect for this season but I don’t know what you have them do with that theme other than show them bring like “who cares? Should we order drinks?” Over and over.

+1. Megan Fahey was awesome in this role, but I'm not sure I need/want to spend anymore time with her. And while Theo James is hot I also don't want to spend more time with Cameron.

But there is someone I do want to spend time with - and that is divorced and finding herself Harper. I'm not going to go deep here, but I don't think Ethan and Harper last. The last minute sex on this trip was at best a band aid on a relationship on its last legs. Of all the characters in this season that I'd like to see in a new setting Harper is it.
