Don't be jealous when you buy and use things made in China

Pretty sure that I'm not jealous.

If you want a meritocratic admissions system, move to China or the UK.

This is an example of just how how stupid people. Chinas system is massively affected by wealth with few from poor areas able to attend the better universities. In the UK they give large preferences to kids from public schools because otherwise all of the spots at top schools would be filled by private school kids. Thanks for highlighting your ignorance.

Starting off this rant about others' stupidity with a childish grammar error is comical.

I'm pretty sure that they nailed it. Quit deflecting.

Everyone needs a hobby.

The best and brightest can use the amazing opportunities available at a large number of schools to pursue their passions.

They don't have to end up at the perfect school, marry the very best person, or get the job of their dreams to still be successful.

They didn't. China recently began implementing laws that allow for more rural representation in universities and support before the Gaokao. They also heavily exaggerate the "large preferences" given to public school kids in the UK. Elite UK unis read applications contextually to understand any fundamental barriers in academics and opportunities. It's not a "large" preference, just trying to give them a more equal opportunity.

I beg that you pick up some critical thinking skills, hog.

DP but the U.S. couldn’t manufacture shit these days. The country is almost completely gutted in order to put more dimes in billionaires’s pockets.

Right, because you cannot afford. You now spend more time lining up in the Goodwill or doom-scrolling social media

You need to clarify this. In England a public school is what we in the US call a private school.

Yeah public schools budget waste gazillions on special ed kids while bright kids are left alone to figure things out. Stinks for the smart but poor kids, but often their cognitive gifts do help them figure things out in the end. Very sub-optimal use of resources for any society.

If you don't like it petition the AMA to allow more american medical schools to educate more students.

It’s cheaper to let other countries educate the doctors and then let us import them here.
