Wow. Clearly your values are different from most. Most people don't want books that tell kids that the doctor "guesses" their gender at birth and sometimes makes a mistake. They also don't love books that promote drag queens and Pride parades. (Thankfully, they did not include some of the things you do see at Pride parades.) And, you don't have problems with FCPS having to pay out $$$$$ because they were not properly providing for Special Ed kids? And, no. Definitely not Moms for Liberty here. But, even a broken clock is right twice a day. |

Braddock is a winnable district for a GOP candidate, and both Moon and Sizemore-Heizer are weak candidates.
Moon has already failed in prior attempt(s) to get elected to the Board of Supervisors. The four years that he was not on the School Board (2019-23) kept him out of circulation. His English has declined and he struggles to articulate his views. Sizemore-Heizer is a narcissist, and she prioritized special education issues and her own pyramid (Lake Braddock) over everything else. Her work relating to school boundaries has been deeply, deeply flawed - she pushed "lawyerly" approaches to give the School Board maximum flexibility to change boundaries without any commitment to grandfathering students at their current schools. Eventually, Ricardy Anderson and others had to go back and clean up the mess Rachna had made because Rachna was "too cute by half." From all appearances, she's looking to bail on the School Board now because she doesn't want to be around when the sh*t really hits the fan. Yes, the GOP could pony up another extremist, but people aren't going to swayed by folks like the rabid 12:26 poster. They'll be looking for the strongest candidate to protect their schools and communities and, with Moon and Sizemore-Heizer the two Democrats running so far, the bar isn't very high. |
+1. |
This sort of deranged shrieking is why the Democrats lost the presidency. This insistence that sexually graphic books and the notion that some rando "assigns" sex at birth or that white kids need to feel permanently guilty and the other kids permanently aggrieved is not appealing to most people. The above has also boosted the support for school vouchers. Democrats are pretty safe in Fairfax though, even if their antics help the prospects of Republicans for increased power statewide. |
LOLOLOLOL |
| I’m a Democrat but I’ll still write a check to the dumbest Moms of Liberty Trumper they dig up to run against them. That is the level of anger I have right now towards Fairfax County Democrats over the boundary issue. Enough of this crap. If it takes putting a few nutjob Rs on the board to wake the Dems up so they stop screwing over their constituents, so be it. |

So, how will Rachna and the others reply to this? More $$$ for lawyers? |
Curious what Reid will do. 10 days to comply. |
Hopefully, they will comply. |
Well, it sounds like you’re not a Braddock voter so you don’t get a vote. |
|
Well, Rachna is devoting lots of her twitterverse to her run for Supervisor.
I know it is highly unlikely, but it sure would be funny if Walkinshaw loses and stays on BOS. |
+1. I won’t vote for either of them. |
Her “twitterverse”?? |
Nope. But that doesn’t meant I can’t donate and help her (and Moon’s) opponent. |
Yay democracy has turned into oligarchy even at the local level. yippee for you!!!!! |
