Not PP, but suggest you look at Rachna's doners. Is CALIFORNIA okay with you? |
Karl gets more money than anyone needs to run for a local school board. A decent chunk of that money gets reallocated to other candidates who share the same "values" as Frisch and his out-of-state donors. He's not a very good school board member, but he's an effective bag man. |
True. But, Rachna's biggest donor ($20,000) from California is not Karl. Maybe it is her mother? sister? |
It’s her mother, a college professor. Rachnas maiden name is Sabherwal. |
| I hope all of you who live in Braddock will make sure to know where both candidates stand on having a casino in Fairfax county. Though the focus has been Tysons, there are rumblings for other parts of the county. The BoS will be the ones who decide if the referendum goes to the voters if the General Assembly passes it in the next session (it’s already passed in the Senate once). |
Did you miss South Park ?PC means Perfect Christian now. |
She’s from CA! I assume she has lots of friends and family there who want to support her. |
Another quote:
So, local people cannot donate to improve our county but Rachna's mother can? Got it. |
Your sanctimonious attempt to say that I interfere in your choice of politician has zero weight when your politician rams through boundary changes at the county level. If she was only playing in the Braddock sandbox then fine, but otherwise you can gtfoh. What’s the saying- your right to punch me ends where my nose begins. Get over yourself and your dumb take on democracy. |
kenforbraddock.com He is my neighbor and the nicest, down-to-earth guy. He's held a lot of local leadership positions in the area, and he is absolutely not a maga republican. Ken's brought our community together and really lowered the age of those active in the civic association. Everyone respects him, and most of my friend group thinks he is a phenomenal candidate (even the liberal democrats like me). He is very moderate and I am pretty sure he has been friends with John Cook for years and has similar approaches to the county and braddock. |
Great news. Rachna Sizemore-Heizer is one of the last people I’d want to see elected to higher office. |
I know the seat will be vacant because Walkinshaw will likely win because of the D. However, I watched some of the forum last night with the candidates. Walkinshaw is running against Trump. His opponent did a much better job of explaining how he would do things. You may not agree with him, but Walkinshaw is just a slicker version of our School Board members. Slightly more articulate, but he would vote the same way they do. |
James Walkinshaw has been substantive on the BOS, but no doubt any Democratic candidate in NoVa is being counseled to run against Trump, especially one running for Congress. The responsibilities of a member of Congress are quite different from those of a School Board member, although Rachna and other SB members often seem to forget this. |
Agree. Raising taxes is quite substantive. Higher property tax. Restaurant tax. Etc. Didn't he give himself a raise? Just like the SB members? Same cut of cloth. |
Glad to hear they’ve got an opponent, especially one as strong as this. If I were running his campaign, it’d be non-stop coverage of Sizemore-heizer and moon relentlessly pushing the boundary changes through. Add a sprinkle of Sandy Anderson and McDaniel, and you got yourself a winning campaign. It’s all on YouTube. Best of luck, Ken. |
