This kind of sensibility didn’t sit well with him all his life probably, and along came Meghan and told him that he deserves more and that they should blow it all up for the sake of freedom. Except freedom in California, away from the land of your forebears and your extraordinary heritage, does not seem to be fulfilling for Harry and he’s sad his kids are missing out on all the pomp of being royals. People who are not from class based societies don’t fully grasp what he gave up, I feel.

I can see this. She gave him a taste of American-style individualism and he seems like he got into some New Age/empowerment stuff too that seems very Hollywood. But they have nothing to offer on their own and they would have been better off becoming the Edward-Sophie of the next generation; appearing places dressed well, smiling and not saying anything. They wouldn't have to constantly hustle as they are now. I can see them eventually divorcing.

Exactly. American style individualism requires smarts and wits in order to succeed. I don’t think either of them is intelligent.

She is. She was an American woman in her mid 30’s of mixed race and not of high income, fame, or status who moved to a foreign country and within less than a year made enough contacts/friends to direct her to the Prince and in less than a year, gets married. She did what Kate and family waited for ten years in one year.

Np. ah yes, but now we know that the waiting was a benefit for Katherine. We now fully know the difficulties of that life and by waiting William made sure she was ready and all in. Perhaps if H snd M waited a bit more they would still be in

And then she messed that all up and now shills on Instagram in CA while insisting on being called Duchess. She was manipulative but she's not that intelligent because she lacks consuderation of long term consequences.. She can't be that smart to have thrown away their life in England to play royal in California.

She got the spare, a much easier feat than the heir, especially when the former is as dumb as a post. I don’t think she’s smart (anyone who has heard her platitude filled talk in any interview will recognize this) but I definitely think she is driven and thinks very highly of herself, which I admire.

The spare is a better catch. They have enormous wealth together without royal duty. I feel for them and I think it has come out as fact not rumor that they were often thrown under the bus the protect Will and Kate. Lots of family dysfunction.

I do think Meghan is bright, but not as savvy as she thinks and the self-absorption and arrogance are comical. The way she corrected her "friend" regarding her title was over the top. I saw a clip of Meghan in an interview saying she has written her kids an email every day since birth or something like that and they will get access to that email when older. Someone did a spoof pretending to be a grown up child of Meghan saying "Wow, 60000 emails, just what I've always wanted. Oh and you keep writing them. Greeeeaaaat. Thanks. I'll totally read of all these."

I agree with what you said about Edward and Sophie. Difficult but h&m can’t run from negative press coverage no matter where they go. (The ugly British press will just continue to embellish as well as make deals with Camilla).

I think Meghan needed to work on building friends there. Also hard, but it would have worked eventually.

I can’t make a judgment on what you said about divorce, either way. I won’t comment on it.

Cite any actual source proof of Camilla, Charles, William, Kate, ANYONE directly or indirectly collaborating with the press to take down Harry the phony phocking idiot who forced a teacher to sue him when she wouldn’t cover up for his cheating to struggle out of high school with a degree. (Her suit was settled and was covered by The Guardian, not tabloids). Or for Meghan, who is absolutely incompetent at maintaining long-term relationships; ask the Suits cast. Ask Gina Torres, who gave a very pert “we don’t have her number” answer when asked about Markle this fall on a red carpet.

These doofi earn their bad press. This recent judgement has the judges making damn clear they don’t believe the “high speed paparazzi chase” occurred. They’re they’re own worst enemies.

This is Harry's claim in his book. But the more the various dramas with Harry and Meghan goes on, the clearer it is that Harry is paranoid and delusional thinking everyone is out to get him.

Also why would he announce to the world that they might have less security? That seems really unsafe (if they are really in danger) unto itself.

Harry says the palace (whoever that is) would give the press bad stories about Harry and Meghan in exchange for keeping bad press about W&K out of the press.

To be fair Meghan handed the press a bad story on a platter when she complained that no one asked how she is doing.

The British press are known for manipulating situations to get their story. They took a picture of Diana in a see through skirt and published it on the front page to embarrass the royal family.

Harry is paranoid like her mother was.

They expected to gain immense power and wealth with help of random wealthy celebrities they tried to befriend. Some of it materialized but politics didn't welcome them and their celebrity "friends" became distant after initial welcome.

Ironically they've enough wealth, fame and connections to live a very comfortable life but they feel entitled to much more.

Kate and William were college sweethearts with common friends and close bond with her family.

BBC just issued an apology/statement for the interview. Allowing Harry to misrepresent facts, and not representing the viewpoint of the UK government or buckingham palace.
