I think they would like tape it. Or take a photo of it and post is on her new Instagram. Also what a hypocrite now poster her kids every single day on her Instagram after all her “social justice warrioring” about the dangers of kids and social media. They can afford their lifestyle, don’t want to downsize/downgrade, and that is why they want a reconciliation.

They have a mortgage on the Monticito home, and are paying maybe a 1mm on security per year, plus flying private etc. All their endeavors have been flops or like mediocre successes. As Ever was #1 in Lithuania for more than 1 week. These “wins” aren’t going to pay for the lifestyle they want. They either need support from bank of dad or they need the royal affiliation to sell and make money off of and the royals refuse to be sold, that’s why they have nothing to do with them.

I bet living in 5mm newly renovated frogmore cottage in Windsor park with security and other perks like no bills or gardeners, private schools paid for, rich life long friends whose planes you can jump on with regularity, and a second home in the Cotswolds (which they would’ve gotten if they had played nice), while having like 50-100 partial day ribbon cutting ceremonies per year and zero stress about money as everything is taken care of and they had a million pound allowance. But they had to have billions! But those billions never materialized and now Harry is realizing that 60milliom dollars can run out really quickly when you spend 3million or more per year.

think there are several iterations where they could have stayed in the UK without being full-time working royals, enjoying private school and free homes and fancy friends. There was no real reason for them to leave other than finding business opportunities in Hollywood. I think Meghan wanted more money and Harry just wanted out.

So does that translate to my dad didn’t ask for Harry’s security like Harry wanted him to? If so, how is anyone getting an ask for reconciliation? Isn’t this a public statement to say my dad (or William) is the bad one? Or what does the quote mean?

He also probably broke rules in even saying what he did. But not surprisingly. To tease this info and other info and then cash in later.

I looked up the statement, it's very detached, brief and factual: 'All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.'

The Meghan and Harry loving dummies can continue being stupid, but William seems capable of letting actual professionals do professional messaging. He’s a grown up on some level. His brother and Meghan aren’t and they never will be. They’re going to play act at life and parenting forever - Harry will piss and moan over estrangement, Meghan will pretend she’s personally boxing her gross sht in an octagonal jar, they’ll both delude themselves that they are rational and highly present parents.

Poor kids.

Idk, I think their life in CA actually sounds pretty amazing and dreamy. I'm sure the kids are just fine, as are all the kids who just live far from extended family because their parents moved abroad. It's not traumatic, just a little bit sad to not forge deeper bonds with cousins. What I don't get why they are going on and on about the UK stuff and bashing royals. It's ok to be estranged if they want that. What's not ok is to claim you don't want to be estranged while also repeatedly antagonizing family in the press. It just makes no sense. The security business also makes no sense because a discreet visit can be done, via private plane and with bodyguards as long as they are not armed. People like David Beckham, Elton John and other mega celebrities manage just fine.

They live in a tiny town of under 9,000 people. Even the greater Santa Barbara area is relatively small. Southern Santa Barbara County where Santa Barbara, Montecito, UCSB area, Carpinteria is only 200,000 people. The private schools are really small in the SB area. And Montecito has twice the number of senior residents as the US. It seems like a really lonely life compared to if they lived in England surrounded by extended family AND childhood/school friends who you know aren't going to sell you out to the paparazzi. These relations have estates they could visit and retain privacy.

Their lives now are a life of having no grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins on either side. They don't have any longterm family friends. Who do they list on their school emergency pick up cards? Nannies?

That family in England has paparazzi on speed dial. Harry wasn’t even protected from the press during his school years in Eton.
The extended family was not there for him when his mother passed away, his grandfather demanded he walk behind his mother’s coffin

William lost the same mother. William did the same walk.

William has also been coddled very differently because he was the heir. Read Harry’s book. While I rolled my eyes through a lot of it, Harry was younger, emotionally fragile, and basically left to his own devices with a father who himself isn’t really good at the parenting thing or making emotional connections. Charles was still living through his own mommy and daddy issues. None of these people are emotionally healthy. Also, i genuinely believe that it is about security. On this issue, Harry will never be anything other than that 12 year old whose life was turned upside down in an instant. He will never have anything other than a knee jerk reaction to this issue. Harry has a lot of similarities to his mother who was not the smartest or emotionally stable herself. She didn’t make it in the BRF, and neither is Harry. It’s not about grift and money.

Harry always was the darling of the British people. They love and adore the monarchy in a way that we do not understand.
Harry was the splunk that made the picture perfect.
Unfortunately you are not allowed to outshine your master. That is a lesson the brf learnt from Diana. Charles was always incredibly jealous of this and that doomed the marriage before the ‘live in the shadow of the man’ woman came along.

William is plain vanilla, not at all interesting and just cuts ribbons.
Charles is already a has been.
They lost an opportunity to make the rf more interesting and now the tabloids write more about Meghan and Harry than any other member of the royal family.

Harry was more popular than William and his Grandmother's favorite. Meghan could have been a shining star in the BRF and an advocate for women and minorities. If they had stayed working royals, they would have been traveling the world with royal treatment and excited crowds waiting to see them. But they chose to be selfish and blew it big time. Now they are has-beens.

It is even worse. They chose the fast huge money by publicly selling out your family v. working their way through it. They could even had done well in the US if they had not sold out for fast money. I actually like her style and she could have represented a few brands for big money. Well, not 40m instantly type of money, which is what she wanted.

Per both, the BRF has a LOT of racists in it. Look at the one who wore a blackface Brock to their (I think it was) engagement party. Gmafb. They had very good reason to leave on that basis alone.

A blackface brooch worn by some aunt? Who cares?

If that’s the case PP, why do they so desperately want to be seen as part of the royal family?

It’s weird to me how fast everyone here forgot just how racist, abusive and toxic the British press were to Meghan/about Meghan.

They didn’t just up and leave out of the blue. They raked her everyday for all manner of things for no reason. Things that Kate did as well but when Meghan did them, she was awful for it (a dress color, a seated position, holding her pregnant stomach etc). And let’s not forget the “leak” about Meghan making Kate cry when it was the other way round but the BRF never bothered to correct the story.

I’m no Harry/Meghan apologist but that family hated how easy it was for Meghan to slide into a public appearance role, boring old Kate was intimidated and the rest of them “never explained, never complained” while allowing Meghan to get battered in the press.

That’s why they left. They didn’t scream for privacy, they wanted normalcy which is a different thing. They asked for modern roles that allowed them to be part time. It was rejected by QEII. They left. They have to do something to make money (granted, not what I would’ve done - Oprah interview was a huge mistake…) but here they are. They need to suck it up and live with where they landed. Charles and William will not welcome them back with open arms, especially not with Camilla in Charles ear.

Have you seen Godfather I and II? He's Fredo. A naive dummy who was exploited and sold out his family.

You never embarrass or turn your back on the family. The king and William should NEVER forget what Harry has done. You can NEVER trust him again. Period.

I don’t think he wanted out and she wanted Hollywood money. I think she simply wanted complete control over him, and his titles and his money. He fell in to her trap. I think he may be beginning to see his kids are now stuck in the trap with him, and wants rescued—-hence the security plea “no one will save me”
Save yourself, dude

You would have a better argument for whining about how Meghan was mistreated if she wasn't actually on video in an impoverished country whining that no one asked her how bad things were for her. Meghan only cares about Meghan. They certainly are not getting invited back to Kensington Palace so she should just perfect her Instagram Duchess act.

Per both, the BRF has a LOT of racists in it. Look at the one who wore a blackface Brock to their (I think it was) engagement party. Gmafb. They had very good reason to leave on that basis alone.

If that’s the case PP, why do they so desperately want to be seen as part of the royal family?

They named their dd after the Queen so I agree it makes no sense. They still gladly also use their titles.

He’s obviously miserable and pining for being back in the royal fold. I think they left because he had some resentment toward his brother and she amplified those feelings, making him believe he was equal to his brother when that just can’t be the case in a monarchy. The younger sibling needs to know their place (prince edward did a great job at that). This kind of sensibility didn’t sit well with him all his life probably, and along came Meghan and told him that he deserves more and that they should blow it all up for the sake of freedom. Except freedom in California, away from the land of your forebears and your extraordinary heritage, does not seem to be fulfilling for Harry and he’s sad his kids are missing out on all the pomp of being royals. People who are not from class based societies don’t fully grasp what he gave up, I feel.
