An example of an independent Catholic school in the same area (NOT parochial) is Summit Country Day School in Cincinnati. Tuition 22k (9-10th) and 24k (11th-12th). My ods came close to going to an independent Catholic school and the curriculum and religious education is very different in those from parochial Catholic schools.
Comparing DC prices to Kentucky/Cincinnati is the big difference, and then parochial vs independent. What grades a school has is not related to whether it is independent religious or parochial.
