Rumors are now circulating that Dog captured him!

Now let's wait and see if that is true.

Where’d you see that? I just checked his Twitter page and just see the video of him about to go out in the water.

NP

A sheriff helicopter headed out to the island after Dog.

Then the police asked a news company to pull a story until they update them.

Then the police scanner went quiet. Not staticky, completely quiet.

Now everyone is waiting

Wait...you're telling me Dog showed up a WEEK AGO and suddenly got the guy? Maybe he should be running the state police for three districts and not whoever the idiots are now.

Is there actually a warrant out for Brian? Under what authority would Dog be apprehending him?

Well murder rings a bell…

That’s not a warrant for arrest based on a murder charge. But more to the point - Dog is a private citizen? What authority does he have to effect an arrest?

Do you not know what a bounty hunter is? Oh dear sweet one...

I thought there was a warrant out for Brian unlawfully using Gabby's bank card after her disappearance?

Nope. More misinformation. It was his parent’s bank card

How do you know it was his parents’ bank card? Couldn’t they just say they authorized him to use it?

I have watched that 1HR+ footage twice & the cops who handled the Brian/Gabby situation on 8/12 in Utah never paid attention to the witness account of someone witnessing Brian as the true aggressor.
Now that it has been revealed that the cops on the scene DID in fact know that there was a witness account of someone actually seeing Brian strike Gabby this is utterly outrageous to me.

Just because Brian had marks on his face, he was labeled the victim.
Those officers while friendly (except Officer Pratt IMO) were kind to both Brian + Gabby, their police work was so shoddy.

Sadly it took Gabby’s death for the truth to have come out that the authorities did a horrible job.
🙁

Do we know that the police received the information from both 911 calls? I hadn’t seen that.

We don’t. An officer was put on leave while the incident is investigated. We know that there were two 911 calls — one said that Gabby was hitting him, the other said Brian was the aggressor. We know the officers knew of the first, but we don’t know if they were told of the second. From the video, it appears not. Brian did have marks on his face, which supported the report of the first call. Gabby admitted she hit him. It sounds like probably both were true.

It’s possible that the dispatcher made a mistake by not passing in the info from the second call. The video doesn’t show the officers getting another call from the dispatcher. However, officers had already been dispatched, so maybe they decided they didn’t need to pass along the additional info? A mistake in hindsight, but I still don’t think the Police action on the scene was “shoddy” in light of what they knew.

Yes, it’s heartbreaking that Gabby was so close to getting help. But, despite the fact that she didn’t ask for help, they separated her from Brian, & gave her possession of her van. She could have simply driven away.

I feel very bad for the officer who is on leave. Too many Monday morning quarter backers complaining about the video. What’s that saying? “Vision in the retro spectroscope is always 20/20” Too bad, will lose some great officers this way.

I can’t find the article that said that. The indictment itsel didn’t mention whose it was. I think if it was Gabbys they would have said so.

“Go Dog Go‼️“

Are you referencing the popular children’s book PP??!
Lol.

It looks like Dog is accomplishing so much more than the authorities.
If he actually leads the FBI to Brian Laundrie - imagine all the accolades he will receive!
However imagine if his info all leads nowhere, then he will be looked at as a joke.

I wonder how the FBI feels about his involvement w/the search.
Are they happy that someone so competent is actively on the case & are appreciating the extra help?
Dog’s involvement is definitely adding a bigger spotlight on this case.

Or are they afraid that Dog will find Brian before they do + fear looking incompetent to the public??

Btw, I agree that the cops did an awful job in regard to how they treated the DV situation.
Just because one person has marks on them does not automatically place them as the victim.
Gabby was in so much distress.
She cried the entire time and accepted all of the blame.
It was crystal clear due to her distress that she was afraid of Brian.

Yet Brian was acting like the entire thing was “no big deal.”
He called Gaby crazy and his chumminess w/the cops was so obviously phony.
How could the police not notice that??!

And wasn’t the mere fact that he apologized over + over for speeding a little much?
He said it was due to “adrenaline” rushing & the cops just accepted that.

When if a suspect who got arrested after a high-speed police chase said the same thing?
That he was speeding due to being on an adrenaline rush…..??!
Brian wasn’t even given a field sobriety test.

The arrest warrant doesn’t indicate who the account(s) belong to.

Oh dear sweet one a bounty hunter can only “hunt” a person if somebody skips on a “bond”. This is not the case, nobody posted bond, so Dog is not working as a bounty hunter.

No, a bounty hunter can also try to catch a criminal for the reward money (aka bounty). Doesn’t have to be a bond. You’re thinking of a bail bondsman.

No way his parents would go along with charges for use of their card.

It has to be related Gabby’s or an unknown person.

To save some thumb searching, here is a link to some info on citizen’s arrest. We all have authority under certain conditions.

I think it is only fair that the officers who handled the August 12th incident are investigated. Even without knowing what we do now, it is very clear to me that a travesty occurred. The bearded officer was totally on Brian’s side. He stressed due to the scratches on his face he was the apparent victim in the scenario. He even pointed out that Gabby had no tangible injuries on her person. After Gabby told him that she never intended to cause harm or injury to Brian, the bearded officer got annoyed/exasperated then told the initial officer it was all his decision because he had another call to attend to and had to get to it. It was obvious when witnessing his demeanor on the video that he thought Brian was a poor victim of a crazy fiancée. He is probably hating himself now.
The motel Brian was driven to is pretty nice. He was driven over to the Bowen Hotel which was about $90 - 100 for a night. It was right in walking distance from everything in Moab plus it offered free WiFi, free laundry services and a multi channel T.V. package along with unlimited air conditioned comfort. Brian got all of that while Gabby slept in the hot van, in the middle of the desert, alone without anyone to check up on her. The only resource she was given was a list of public showers in the area.

The officers should be definitely canned.
