Yup, still in contention.

Yep. It's going to be Whitmer. She was actually WAY more successful than Cuomo in heading off the virus - but they downplay her record because of her gender. She is the most qualified person being vetted.

Warren and Demings are still my top pick. Harris for AG, especially with all of the litigation and investigations that will ensue and we understand the full extent of what Cult 45 did.

Picking Warren will be the worst thing that Biden can do right now.

Warren adds no value in any of the top 10-12 swing states. She is a New England progressive Democrat who has no executive experience and is out of touch with the realities of the midwest and South. She does not represent any minorities nor speak to any minorities (her 1024th part Cherokee that no tribe will acknowledge notwithstanding). Plus she is weak with moderates and Independents. Biden needs Independents and moderates, especially ones in the swing states to ensure his victory. Picking Warren would be a Hillary Clintonesque mistake, shoring up your base at the cost of the critical swing voters and states. Despite everything we've gone through in the last 3.5 years, there are still many swing voters and states that aren't sure the Biden is worse than Trump and you can't let the coastal college-educated elite confidence that everyone can see the disasters and will automatically vote for Biden. There are many, many critical voters that you need to convince and Warren doesn't speak to any of them.

Warren and Harris are both very controversial candidates. Both poll heavily positive, but both also poll heavily negative and both are net negative across the board. Biden needs to pick someone that is not controversial, even if they are not as popular. A VP candidate rarely helps a ticket, but it can sink a ticket (see John McCain and Sarah Palin).

I disagree. She has zero foreign experience. The person who best understands what they need to do for the job is Susan Rice because she was in the room for years.

But she’s another one who will drive GOP turnout. An intelligentsia pick, no appeal to swing voters.

False. She seems dumb. All of the women of color on the list are vastly superior.

She can do all that as SecState. She adds nothing to the ticket as VP.

Right, 15 years of state legislative experience (including serving as first Dem woman leader) plus effective governorship during a pandemic. She’s a real hack!

She and Bass are the most personable prospects in contention (maybe Demings too). Key quality in retail politics.

Kamala can stay where she is. HRC is my pick for AG!

I think Susan Rice is awesome, but THIS.

Don’t worry, it will definitely be Kamala or Sally Yates.

Thankfully, the Clinton family's participation in politics is done.

Won't be Kamala Harris. Way too many negatives.

Too many negatives for AG? I get the sentiment for VP but AG isn't a super controversial position
