William and Kate are changing what it means to be a working royal and there is less need for ribbon cutters in the post-QEII era. They don’t need Harry’s family or any of the cousins (Zara, Beatrice, etc) to help carry the load because they haven’t taken on too much work. They’ll hopefully encourage Charlotte and Louis to have real careers too as the modernization continues.

So in the written statement Harry put out he says “the Royal Household remain his sole representative on RAVEC” that made security call. So does that translate to my dad didn’t ask for Harry’s security like Harry wanted him to? If so, how is anyone getting an ask for reconciliation? Isn’t this a public statement to say my dad (or William) is the bad one? Or what does the quote mean?

He’s a broken man. He always has been, but now that his surviving parent is likely terminal, Harry is probably desperate to clear the air and reconcile. While it’s baffling that he’s doubling down on the security issue (and clearly demonstrates he’s either clueless or just that stubborn), it’s still obvious that he’s not stable. He’s sad. Broken.

I bet Charles will put something into a tight trust for Harry and his two kids.

I think he might leave once Charles is gone and he realizes that he gave up his whole family and relationships in the UK for a dog and pony show. He will probably be very resentful and transfer the bad feelings about Charles onto Meghan.

One thing Harry and Meghan are great at is growing estranged from family and friends.

They should do a show on how to cut off and lose friends and family. They are highly skilled.

I read it had placing the blame squarely on the RF (dad or William or another family member). He also said he asked Charles to step aside so that the professionals can do their job. I interpreted this as meaning possibly the RF were the roadblocks to getting the green light. Either way, he is putting blame on his family.

Thomas Markle Jr. wrote a letter to Harry before the wedding that warned him about Meghan's using people and moving on after she gets what she wants.

I think he's desperate to reconcile because he wants to ensure that a hefty inheritance is guaranteed for him and his 2 children, and convince Charles to bestow new titles to Harry and the kids that William will not be able to remove in the future.

If Charles dies soon, Harry is at the mercy of William, and that brotherhood is all but dead. Harry knows he has a bit of a chance with Charles and no chance with William.

I don't think Harry is clear-headed enough (both intelligence and soberness) to be considering he will regret it on an emotional level in the future if they don't reconcile.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have phrased it in the BBC interview like "Yeah, Meghan and I trashed the BRF for profit and lost in court, but we forgive you Dad. And when are you, Dad, going to apologize to us and let bygones be bygones?".

Harry is such a dolt child-man. Broken, but still an immature dolt.

Attacks on Katherine: her texts and questioning Archie’s skin w/ Charles (named later by their buddy omid), multiple negative comments and stories of Camilla, the dog bowl incident with William which was so private and raw and personal and was William just trying to warn him about Meghan being a grifter liar leech.

Because then there would be another voice in Harry’s head that would counter her arguments. The kids would see that Charles is not evil, as she portrayed. She has to maintain complete control over those in her life - the kids, her husband, her mother.
