How is the US the first safe country asylum seekers from around the world are entering? Is there a requirement that asylum seekers seek asylum in the first safe country or is it legal to pick and chose what country to claim Asylum as you are hopscotching from country to country literally all over the world?

Only the Democrats will give them each a $5,000.00 VISA card. They ain’t dumb! Heck, apparently they’ve even figured out how to “enter” multiple times to keep racking up those 5K VISA cards. They’ve been told there’s plenty more!

Just flew from Arizona to Seattle and there were a bunch of migrants on the flight. I guess the governor is sending them away by plane too.

“He said, these governments one after the other been falling on the left and on the right over immigration,” recalled Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) in an interview. “He said he lost on Brexit because of immigration. He said, 'If you don't fix immigration, immigration will fix you.'”

Utter silence from Democrats. SEND THEM BACK. It is absolutely unbelievable that the Biden administration is allowing this to happen - and has been for the last three years.

And, this is trend that is worsening in Chicago, and in other cities no doubt:

The number of Venzuelan-born people arrested by Chicago police this year is up 2,538% compared to 2022, according to data provided by the police department. It’s up 11,333% compared to 2021.

As of November 12, CPD arrested 686 people this year who listed Venezuela as their birthplace, according to data provided by the department in response to our Freedom of Information Act request. That compares to 26 for all of last year and just six in 2021.

Those poor kids need to eat and need some warm closing. I am so happy that Chicago law enforcement is not enforcing their laws and allow these people not to starve. Chicago is a sanctuary city and they are taking care of these poor kids.

Truly hoping this is satire.

They have always had migrants since it’s a border city but the past year is was different than other years. There are people from literally all over the globe- Venezuela, China, India, Mauritania, Turkey, Burkina Faso, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, etc.

This is from one newspaper reported who has reported on the border for years.

“On a patch of grass at a bus and trolley station on Iris Avenue, a half dozen women from Vietnam hovered over cellphones. In the parking lot, a group of men from Senegal tried to figure out how to get to the airport without money. They told me they were robbed in Mexico. On the sidewalk, a man from Guatemala spoke on the phone in a Mayan language to his father in Riverside County. A man from Eritrea sat on the curb, lacing his shoes.

U.S. Border Patrol agents had just dropped them off and they were struggling to find their way. Many of them didn’t have money or working cell phones – just U.S. immigration court documents and pieces of paper with hand-written addresses and phone numbers.”

All these people are posting on social media to their friends and family how they were able to easily enter the US after making a dangerous journey. The easiest part of the trip was walking over the border. So this is inspiring more and more people to come. Some migrants are great for this country but everyone can see - Republican or Democrat that this is out of control.

And now it's up to us, the taxpayers, to pay for their housing, medical expenses, education, etc. They are here because Biden has made it beyond easy to enter the country. NO other country in the world would be allowing this. Biden has made us an utter laughingstock.

As the migrant surge in Lukeville continues, there are concerns about the environmental impact.

Environmentalists, wildlife experts and officials fear the trash left behind could harm wildlife in that area and cause long-term issues if it is not picked up.

Interesting that "environmentalists" were outraged about a wall having adverse effects on "delicate habitats" at the border - but completely unconcerned about the tons of trash left behind by these illegal immigrants.

I have asked this so many times and never get a straight answer. There is no way the US is the first safe country these people are reaching. They travel through several other countries and then Mexico to get to our border. Why on earth is the Biden administration allowing them to enter our country at all?

"We've got to support our allies - but we've got to secure our OWN border first." - Bill Cassidy

So true. Yes, we need to give aid to Ukraine and Israel - but not at the expense of our own national security. This is what Senate Republicans are holding out for and I fully support them.

And faeces.

LOL. They should do this with ALL the migrants entering illegally.

I’m annoyed Dems are balking at changing the asylum laws. Even if we drop out of the treaty, it needs to happen. Smugglers are exploiting the situation around the globe. We need to make it less profitable for them if other governments won’t do anything to stop them.

To add to this......

Many of these military-aged men entering in Lukeville over the past week are NOT claiming asylum. They are saying - on camera - that they came to work. There is no reason these people should not be deported.

And, as for exploiting our laws.... watch this video to the 20 second mark to see the reaction of the smuggler.
