True. But what happens if a 6-week pregnant woman falls down the stairs by accident and loses the baby? Is it a forced abortion there? Or do we arrest her? What kind of accountability will be enforced to monitor this kind of craziness that these laws encourage? Prediction for GA: Film industry moves out and goes to CA. University of these schools go bankrupt as fewer people send their kids out of state to here (and the stupidity magnifies as a result.) |

Younger generations aren't having sex anymore, so this really isn't a problem.

If it can not exist outside of my uterus, sorry, it is NOT a person. It does not have equal rights to me. I am the woman who is pregnant and I am the one who says what happens inside my own body. Not religious people, not atheist people, NO ONE but me because it is my body. You are welcome to try to convince and persuade me ... not to get pregnant... or to have the baby if I am pregnant. Show me how much you care for children and convince me that it's great to have babies, absolutely. But YOU don't get to decide. |
Yeah, still need some proof of that, just like on the last thread. |
What’s the percentage of research dollars devoted to prenatal health advances compared to everything else? When 15-20% of all pregnancies in the U.S. end in miscarriage? Why aren’t we helping all those victims of this devastation? |
“Feminists for Life” might be a useful place to start.

Do Todd should be required to perform blood tests on any woman who is miscarrying to detect if she's used drugs, alcohol, or nicotine so she can be prosecuted for murder if positive. They should also be required to report all miscarriages for further investigation. If she's previously expressed regret over being pregnant, she can be prosecuted. Pharmacists should report any woman who fills a prescription for misoprostol. These can all go into a database for cross referencing a data mining. If a woman is more likely to be in a situation where she's more likely to want an abortion .. ie. Multiple children already, poor, student, teenager... that can be used to determine who should be investigated further. |
What’s their growth rate? |

Cool. So, quick hypothetical for you: you're in an IVF clinic, and the clinic is burning down. On your right is a canister with 5000 frozen fertilized eggs. On your left is a screaming 3 year old. You can't carry both. Which do you leave behind? |
That reminds me ... who goes away for mass murder when a clinic has a power outage and loses embryos? |

Given the high miscarriage rate and our generally dismal statistics on pregnancy outcomes compared to other developed nations, I'd say our efforts to take care of those babies is ethically lacking. |
The fatal flaw in your argument is your belief that abortion opponents care about outcomes for women. They don't. |
They usually care about public assistance, though. |
