Nope.

Guess what, Hamilton is a political show with the political message "Immigrants get things done."

So I doubt you would have ever seen it in the first place. At any rate, it's sold out for months to come so you'd not be able to get tickets anyway unless you were a VIP calling up the producers.

Oh look who thinks he's clever using part of the word "retarded" as an insult. I wonder why more than half of America finds you deplorable?

They had a job to do - entertain.
They failed at that by feeling the need to deliver a partisan political message.

Which part of that message was partisan? That was a direct statement of their feelings and fears to the man who has been elected vice president.

They didn't challenge his legitimacy. They didn't refuse to perform while he was in the audience.

They did their job, and at the end of the show they used their opportunity to ask him to make sure the administration he is a part of represents them, as well.

Sorry, completely inappropriate. The man was just trying to have a pleasant evening out with his family, and he has to be subjected to that.

What exactly was he "subjected to"? It was a heartfelt statement that was absolutely respectful. And Mike pence works for all of us now, so we have the right to tell him what we want. Hamilton represents everything that's great about America. They are patriots.

Honey, they might not deport you but your president is leader of a huge band of people who do not respect your right to be here and will just lump you on in with all the Muslim terrorists they imagine are here or trying to be. They do not see you any differently. Really. You are a brown outsider who doesn't belong here to them.

Agreed. Don't forget that white people Trump's age used to believe (maybe some still do) that the Irish and the Italians were "swarthy" and not really white. Especially because, you know, they were Papists!

The lecture was written by the very same people who wrote and produced the entertainment.

First of all, there was nothing disrespectful in the post show comments.

Second of all, if Pence is too thinned skin for that feedback from fellow Americans, then he is in for a very rough ride as Vice President.

i have no problem if the cast member delivered the same message privately after the show (or before). But to do it publicly makes it a partisan and inappropriate statement.

What's next, will national anthem signers at ball games make personal statements in front of 40,000 people after singing the anthem. Will metro train drives start making annoucements over the intercom on the Red Line? Is that also appropriate? No, because that is not the time or place for expressing their personal opinions.

Agree. You didn't see this level of disrespect (or riots!) when the Republicans lost.

That is because the Dems that won were far less offensive.

What makes you think the Iranian poster is a Muslim. Among others, there are Jews, Chaldean Rite Christians, Zoroastrians, and -- most notably -- Bahai in Iran. Curb your stereotypes and ignorance, PP

No that was Donald Trump's grandparents' generation. By the time he was at New York Military Academy he had plenty of Italian and Irish classmates. If you wanted the true "papists," you had to go to Regis or another Jeb school

Patriots? How dare you sir! They are heroes, I tell you! Patriots and heroes! Let them have their moment of glory When they get rotated out of the show, they will be selling faux Rolexes in Times Square and couch surfing in Queens.

Crybaby self-important celebrities who are too dumb to read a policy paper but want to make a point?

Go figure.

I don't even understand why Pence would want to see a show that so vehemently disagrees with his personal view of the world. Did he know there were GAY people in the show?

Huh. Makes one wonder if perhaps the media reporting is full of crap

After a grueling long week of work, the poor guy just wanted to enjoy some "arts" and relax. Instead he got treated with some political BS. They ought to refund his tickets.

Well, no. Pence doesn't deny his anti-gay policy proposals as governor. It's all public record and he stands by it. Makes me thing you're full of crap.
