If someone is a size 12, do you think they are fat?

My waist is smaller in comparison with my butt and boobs. I wear a medium or a large shirt, depending on the brand. My boobs are a 36 c. That's the honest truth. I am very conscious of muffin tops, I don't ever want to wear something that makes me have one... So seeing that people on here weigh a LOT less than I do, but wear the same size, surprises me. Just thought I'd give an honest answer for people on here to go off of. At my absolute skinniest I weigh 165 and my parents and friends start worrying because they think I am not eating at all and am too skinny. At that weight I wear a ten, and mediums more often than larges.

You're 5'6 and at 165 your friends and family worry that you're too skinny? LOL c'mon

They think you are too skinny at 165??? They must be fat to say this.

Or they are use to seeing her fat and when she loses a bit of weight, it's weird for them.
She is not skinny at 165.

I look horrible in yoga pants and most types of jeans due to my build--Stocky, muscular legs and 5'4".

As a size 12-- I'd be a house.

Yes, you would, because you are short. Someone who is 6' and size 12 might still look decent, because of her height and proportions.
It all depends on one's height and body composition.

I agree! My sister is 4 inches taller and wears bigger size and looks much thinner.
It's not just height. It's build. I'm 5'3", 138 lbs and I wear a size 12 and I'm very fit. If you saw me, you would never believe I wore a size 12 because I have a lot of muscle and everything is in proportion.

That's what you think.

I get what you are saying, but you are deluded. I am 5'3", weigh 130-132, and I'm very fit. So I get that the weight/height ratio for fitness varies greatly. But the difference is that I am a size 2/4. I would look like an elephant if my body filled out a 12.

I have a friend that wears a size 12 and I think she looks great. I also think build has something to do with it. She's tall, has shapely, big breasts and nice hips; hour glass figure! She constantly complains about being fat though and wanting to lose weight.

I like to know why they think because your a 36 dd your considered fat and my jean size is a 0 to size 3 if that . I hate it. im small on the bottom and my shoulders are small so finding clothes can be a pain in the butt like dresses .

I am 5'9'' and 140 lbs..I am all wide hip and butt. broad shoulders but a small bust cup. I could wear a size four or 6 up top but down below i am a 10 or a 12. I think my natural weight is probably 135 and when I am really working out and eating great I could be 130..then I am usually a size 8 pants.

No.

At 5'3" with my build, 12 would be obese for me. I'm currently 113lbs and size 2, not skinny but lean muscle.

yes. even a size 8 to be honest, unless you are super tall.

+1. It completely depends on height, build, and weight distribution.
