Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Ok....now we have fair game.....people with parents like you turn out to be angry adults. You are a horrible person out trying to prove that it isn't you....it must be everyone else. You need to crawl under a rock. And how did you find this site??!!

I do not get you conspiracy theorists.

Here is my very realistic speculation -

After the ladies went into the store to retrieve the forgotten item, two men, probably aiming to rob someone coming from the Apple store, saw them enter the store and followed.
Things went, very bad in the back room & bathroom. They left the second girl for dead.
A sad, sad story for all. Tragic and unbearable. End of *conspiracy* story.

I pray that they catch these monsters and that the families can find some kind of peace in this chaos.

You may not like what you hear but anything and everything is possible. Is it what happened.....who knows.....to be determined. But to come on to this site and start belittling people for speculating is really over the top. If you want to attack people for there opinions get off the site and find someone somewhere else to attack. There is NO right or wrong here......it is speculation. Until they solve this mystery we all have NO idea what really happened but we certainly do have the right to speculate. And it may help the people working on solving it! So please....stop bashing!

This really takes the cake.

Please stop all this speculation, it does nothing. Think if your daughter had been beaten, raped, and watched her friend be raped, beaten and die. While she was recovering in the hospital trying to help police would you want people dragging her through the mud ? No. You may think of her as some girl, but she is a victim, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend to many.

So awful. I have faith they will catch who did this. Remember the Georgetown Starbucks murders. They caught those guys--some great detective and prosecutors but they got them.
There have got to be some cameras in the area that picked something up--cars, people. And whoever did it is going to say something to someone or screw up in some way. Doesn't sound like it was planned as a robbery, considering the rape. Either they had blanked out on people to rob from the Apple store, or this was someone who knew one of the women---beating is a very personal way to kill someone, plus the rapes. Too messy for a robbery. And Lululemon is not a cash business.... (Former law enforcement here, that's my two cents). So awful. Praying for the victims and their families.

Since you're former law enforcement, can you answer this for me? Does the fact that the women were raped mean that there's likely to be enough DNA evidence to help catch these animals? I keep hoping that their brutalization of the victims in this way will come back to get them.

FYI, all you haters slamming people for speculating about the details of this, there was just a criminal profiler on the news that was discussing the possibility of an inside job or at least it being "personal." Although she did say it was "unlikely" since the surviving victim was also brutalized, she said that the police do NOT think it was random. Everyone is analyzing this case. It's a horrific tragedy and people want to know what happened. Not just anonymous posters on a mommy board.

Not PP but yes, you only need a tiny tiny bit (the more, the better of course). Remember, they can pull DNA out of LOTS of stuff: strands of hair, skin under victims' fingernails if either woman scratched their attackers, saliva, perps own blood, sweat left behind. The problem is it will take a LONG time given the backlog in each agency even if the case has priority (I say long compared to CSI-type shows where they get DNA results in a few minutes). It was a beautiful day in CA when voters passed mandatory DNA samples taken from anyone even ARRESTED for a felony-- I don't know if MD has the same law.

What news station were you watching?

Fox. It's crap, I know. But I just wanted to make the point that everyone, including the media, is speculating about this case.

Exactly.....thank you for doing that!

I think they are SO ON this case that it will be sooner than later that they solve this. And I totally believe it will be solved. It is VERY curious. Every law enforcement officer that has commented on this blog as well as others have said that it is possible that the victims new the criminals! So we will see what happens at the end of the day! I hope for her sake that is not the case. But the possibility does exist. I also hope that they catch these guys soon!
Walking in the neighborhood tonight just made me wonder about EVERYONE that was out and about!

The second video clip is the interview with criminal profiler Pat Brown. It's not the whole interview because the first part got cut off because there were technical issues.

One of the things I'm curious about that hasn't been discussed is where the victims (presumably) parked when they returned to the store. Given the hour, isn't is possible they both parked right outside the store? If so, where would the assailants have hid with their masks and gloves or had been in the position to observe the victims entering the store?(i.e on Bethesda Ave.) Assuming the victims parked in the garage and/or behind the store gives more credibility to a theory that they (assailants) were there for other reasons - the iPad theory.
