Do the clubs share the roster before a decision is made? Or is it based on chatter only through the girls? Went through this w/ my son and not looking forward to going through this w/ my daughter now.

The chosen girls will be on the team.

Are tou referring to the 26's?

Anyone know why BLC was not at Lax For the Cure or Summer Genesis Origins? Saw a few of their teams played in a random tournament in Connecticut against weak teams I have never heard of.

BLC 26 and 27 were at Lax for the Cure. Not sure why they were not at Summer Genesis Origins. Not sure why clubs think parents want to travel when all if the good tournaments are right here.

Probably not a coincidence that a number of siblings on the various Bethesda teams at the Connecticut tournament. Convenient for the parent coaches. Not so much for others.

Translation: My daughter isn't strong enough to make Capital A so I need to explore other options.

Translation: She isn't serious about playing D-1 lacrosse. There are jackasses on every team. Dealing with it is a life lesson. If it leaks that she turned it down to go to a lesser club (which it will), it would really hurt her recruiting.

I love how these moms and dads on this board think they are recruiting geniuses, maybe because they had 1 or 2 kids go through the process and they “think” they have it all figured out. Unless you are recruiting year after year and have a network of college coaches you talk to on a regular basis, why don’t these amateur parents shut your trap and stop spreading lies or stretching the truth. My two cents- talk with someone who does this every year and get their perspective. Granted everyone has their own recruiting philosophy, so please keep that in mind.

There are no ‘26 teams yet. Are you dense? That’s what most of this convo is about.

Honored at being called coach, which is a first for me. Talked to my daughters recruiting director and she gave a different perspective on recruiting then what folks are talking about on these boards. Just saying, don’t believe everything you here on these chat rooms

Based on some of the coaches I have witness coach by kids, not sure that is the type of honor I would strive for. 50/50 at best.
