Or, there may be a "journalist" or two with an agenda who finds a kindred soul to tell her what she wants to hear so she can draft a story to fit a narrative. Interesting that a story like this appears when the left has been discussing making revisions to SCOTUS - including stacking the court. I am highly skeptical - in fact - I seriously doubt that Totenberg's story is based on truth. She and NPR can "stand by the story" as much as they want, but many of us simply don't believe it and will be highly skeptical of future pieces she writes. She has lost any credibility she had. |

So Roberts didn't ask Gorsuch to wear a mask?
Roberts doesn't care if anyone wears a mask? Doesn't care about the health and wellbeing of the Justices he presides over? Is Roberts the d1ck then? |
Roberts knows that they are all adults with good decision making and critical thinking.... after all, they are on the Supreme Court. Roberts also knows they are all vaccinated and boosted and that cloth masks are worthless. He rightly leaves these decisions up to each Justice and also allows for any Justice who is fearful of his/her health to work remotely. IOW - he knows the science and operates appropriately. |
| Obviously Gorsuch is morally bankrupt. He took an illegitimate appointment. |
|
I think it was Soromayor or Kagan. And that Roberts probably told the justices that Soromayor was uncomfortable, without specifically requesting masks. Everyone but Gorsuch took the hint. |
+ a million I really can't believe these morons are *still* insisting a fake story is true. Actually, I don't know why I'm surprised. If it furthers their political narrative, that's what they always do. |
| They want it to be true. That’s enough for them. |
Because people with empathy care about others. |
+2 million It’s really sad how uninterested in the truth most people are |
He wasn’t wearing a mask. Regardless of being asked. All the others were. He is an @sshat. Period. End of story! |
No it’s sad how you are missing the point. I’m not arguing whether he was asked or not. We are in a pandemic. He’s selfish like most conservative men. |
Just stop. Sotomayor wasn't even in the room. Even the CDC has said that cloth masks don't work to stop the spread. Other Justices took their masks off periodically. This is a non-story. And, I am thinking you know very few conservative men, given your sweeping comment. |
NP: What on earth do “cloth masks” have to do with anything? Are you suggesting that he would somehow not have access to N95s — if he really wanted them? |
