I just read Amber's side is done, now back to Johnny. So should wrap up this week, thank god.
I thought successfully casting doubt on the severed finger claim and expert testimony that she did likely suffer millions in potential lost earnings ended up pretty strong for her. Still doesn't seem to be much evidence he lost roles due to anything but his appalling behavior on sets. |
She should have realized that penning a published article that was very clearly accusing her ex of the exact same behavior that she was engaging in herself and promoting herself as some sort of paragon of DV while being an active abuser would result in either riling him up or bringing attention and stress onto herself for an indefinite amount of time. Or both. Which it has. |
She started this whole mess with her Op-ed |
Does that mean the verdict is this week? |
An Op Ed that didn't name him at all or allege any behavior from him. He's suing on absolutely nothing. |
Something worth pointing out, those texts date from before theybwere even married. Absolutely disgusting. |
I don't think this shows how popular he is at all. He has a small fanatic and offensive fanbase. Doing the right wing talk show circuit, sure. Big budget movie where he's likely going to act up even worse? Unlikely. |
Yet, here you are. |
But he’s gotten what he was really after, which was exposing that she was an abusive awful liar. His “twin flame”. Her behavior wouldn’t have come to light without these lawsuits. He’s accomplished his goal. |
Sure |
So his goal is just to ruin her not reallybhelp himself. Yeah, honestly it's this fact that makes me believe her. A rational non abusive person wouldn't waste millions and expose all those terrible stuff about themselves to hurt another person. This is vindictive cruel behavior. |
I you don't believe that Op-ed was about her ex, I have a bridge to sell you |

Here’s a recap of the last few days for those that asked.
Depp filed this defamation case against Heard claiming that he has lost income and acting opportunities as a result of her published Op Ed in which he wasn’t named. The jury will be instructed to reach a verdict based on evidence and expert testimonies that Depp either: 1. Has been blackballed from future employment due to the Op Ed OR 2. It is a result of a substance abuse disorder, erratic and unprofessional behavior on sets, inability to perform his job, and studios weighing the cost risks of production due to this list. Heard’s legal team already has enough confirmed testimony and evidence that Depp exhibited these disorders PRIOR to: 1. Heard filing a restraining order against him 2. Heard publishing the Op Ed piece that did not name him. Entertainment consultant, Kathryn Arnold, stated that she is a forensic entertainment consultant who has been deposed hundreds if not thousands of times in legal cases involving actors, studios, and agents. Her testimony was powerful and her stamina was unmatched by Wayne Dennison’s cross examination. (Depp attorney) Depp lost his libel battle against the publisher of The Sun newspaper over an article that claimed he was a “wife beater”. The judge reached the conclusion that the claim was “substantially true”. Arnold said of the 2020 trial: “Every allegation of abuse, every text, every email, all the audio and visual stuff was brought to light and made public. The industry was watching closely and it’s hard for studios, especially one like Disney, to be connected to a star that has texts about burnt corpses and violent behavior.” She added: “Every time Mr Depp brings a lawsuit, because he’s such a well-known public figure, the spotlight goes on him, whether it’s against his business manager or his former lawyer, even when he filed his talent agent, it becomes news… “Then they look at the details. The erratic behavior, the financial issues, the drinking and drug abuse was part and parcel of every one of those, and it was all brought to light yet again each time.” She believes it is the result of his alleged increased use of alcohol and drugs. Additionally, Tracey Jacobs, Depp’s former talent agent of 30 years, was succinct and to the point. Jacobs said, "his star had dimmed" because of frequent lateness and drunkenness on set. A lawsuit against Depp in 2017 described his lifestyle as costing him about $2 million a month. He was an exceedingly “difficult” client who had “fundamental anger issues” and drew multiple complaints from film crews on “virtually every movie” he worked on. “Word got around. It made people reluctant to use him toward the end.” Depp is in denial that he was already under scrutiny prior the Op Ed: “Johnny Depp, who claims that Heard’s op-ed about being the victim of domestic violence had defamed him and cost him tens of millions in future work, including a starring role in another installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, made by Disney. However, Disney production executive Tina Newman testified that she had “never seen any documentation that referenced the op-ed, never discussed it and did not hear of or partake in discussion of its impact.” But there’s more…both Dr. Spiegel and Kathryn Arnold stated that this defamation case directly “correlates” to Depp’s traits of narcissistic personality disorder because it is what narcissists do. Depp created a world stage to defame and slander Heard. In his pickled brain, he needs a stage— any stage to outperform everyone including medical, psychological, and industry experts. Look at his body language and behavior in the courtroom. The jury box is less than 100 feet away from the Depp team. Vasquez is a snotty, arrogant, flirty attorney who thinks her shtick of making fun of witnesses is going to propel her to glory. Ben Chew is the awkward, unpopular middle school kid who’s delighted to ride on Depp’s coat tails. Wayne Dennison is a twitchy, awkward man who’s not winning any points by disrespecting expert witnesses. And the fist bumps when they believe they “scored” on cross exam. Heard and her team have maintained their composure and professionalism. One or more on the jury will consider the behavior of Depp’s team as unsavory in their decision. Depp lied about his severed finger in text messages to his doctor. He specifically said he cut his finger off. He later lied again saying that Heard cut off his finger. And again, he lied that he didn’t initially state Heard cut off his finger because he was protecting her. Is this believable? Has he shown any pattern of protective behavior towards her in their marriage? Does this case protect her? |
Yup. This whole thing just makes him look bad. |
| Omg are you the one calling people fangirls and deppford wives? You are the one obsessed with this trial |
