Karen Bass is divorced. I like her--she's a great Congressperson. But I'm sorry, there is NO WAY that swing voters in PA, MI, Ohio or Wisconsin are going vote for a ticket with a Black, divorced, licensed social worker from LA.
Wake up, people! She'd be one heartbeat away--a heartbeat could come sooner than we'd like. Joe has to bring in a White woman from the south or southwest. Anything else will be a Palinesque suicide. |
Am close to the Biden camp. Donna D'Antonio-Rebish is a fast-rising dark horse on the horizon. |
TF? She doesn't even come up on google search except on FB. She has a hyphenated name--I could not care less about the name thing--but people in the south will get their hackles up |
this isn't true lol |
She is absolutely qualified, and is a sensible, personable, accomplished woman. Her divorce wasn't a scandal, unlike the current WH occupant. She'd be a great choice. |
Every recent article I've read, including this one, state Joe does not want to be overshadowed by his VP, and needs to trust her. So won't be Harris or Warren. |
For what its worth, Alyssa Mastromonaco and Dan Pfeiffer had a really interesting miniseries on discussing the VP selection process on Pod Save America. At the end, both named who they thought Biden would select. Alyssa named Susan Rice and Dan Pfeiffer. Both of these two worked incredibly closely with Biden during the 8 years of Obama.
Alyssa even worked on the VP selection process for Obama and Biden wants to model the relationship with his VP after him and Obamas relationship so her insight is something to consider. |
If Biden thinks they can handle the Benghazi issue, I can absolutely see Susan Rice as the pick. |
I meant to say that Dan Pfeiffer named Kamala |
Yeah, I agree with this. Rice won't outshine Biden and she is incredibly smart and likeable. I also think Kamala is clearly going to be the front runner in 2024 if she isn't VP and four more years making waves in the Senate will be a lot better for her than being a figurehead VP. |
Nonsense. Rice has brains, beauty, and personality. Of course she’ll outshine him. He’s fading fast and needs to pick someone that people can see being a capable president from day one (though Biden will probably make it to day 30 at least) |
Would you want Susan Rice to run in 2024? |
100% yes |
Pp Here, I agree. |
Unsure. I'm concerned she may not be a strong retail politician. |
