Biden's VP?

Anonymous
This has got to be one of the worst takes I’ve read on this website. Not only was Obama a Senator, he was also one of the most charismatic and talented politicians of the past century. To even compare them in this manner is ridiculous.

Agree. I'm a Republican and when I heard Obama give that speech at the 2004 Dem convention, I really liked him. Unfortunately, he did not continue with the message he sent out then. But, Mayor Pete has never struck me that way. Ever since he was compared to Alfred E. Newman, that is all I see. That, and his sanctimonious manner. He sends off a vibe that he thinks he is the only righteous person in the room.

The current speculation is he’ll wait as long as possible so the Dump campaign has less attack ammunition against his chosen candidate. The convention (such as it is) starts August 17, he’ll probably announce a week or two before that.

Harris and Warren have higher negatives than positives in polls. Following the "do no harm" ethic, I think it will end up between Duckworth, Bass, and Lujan Grisham:

Looks like Harris is out and there is a strong push for Rice

Rice is sharp as a tack, her responses are intelligent and rational. She would make an excellent VP. Will be Biden’s call on Benghazi. It could actually work to her benefit in that the Republicans investigates and found nothing.

But her Republican son worries me

Rice was campaigning for the position a year ago by defending Biden.

Nor can you ignore how tight she is with both the Biden and Obama family

LOL ...Rice has been to eight state dinners to Trump’s two state dinners.

Eh, the one guy quoted likes Demings better than Harris. I don’t see that she’s out.

Fundraising is huge. He says Harris is disqualified. Jill Biden says her debate attack was a punch in the gut..... i.e. she can’t be trusted.

I think she's great, but no-one even has her on the short list.
