Barely anyone who was selected for the U13 year is going to get cut from the team. They might add to the roster size with more players but encl teams are not going to outright cut anybody.

Depends on the team... Cuts are going to happen at several clubs if not all of them!

VDA sucks. BRYC sucks. Come to FCV, we have the best coaching, promotion and college placement and we are the only viable pathway to USYNT.

Playing weak competition is not a good way to improve or to be prepared against better competition. And the 08 VDA will consistently beat your 08 team for years to come.

This won’t end well. It won’t be long before every result, every kid on your team are openly scrutinized on this thread. You’d do better to shut up and lay low. FCV doesn’t need any more promotion than they already do for themselves.

Now on to the scrutiny. FCV better than VDA??? LOL!!! No chance, just no chance FCV 08 would beat VDA.

FCV won one game at Jeff cup and recently tied Jersey Rush in league play. Basically, they can win against scrubs, like most GA teams but when they play anyone ranked they suck. They’d never beat against VDA not that Bobby would even accept a scrimmage against VDA or Richmond for fear the parents would see how far behind they really are from real teams.

But I suppose if you believed you had the players you need you wouldn’t be here begging for players to come. YOU at least know you lack enough talent.

Also, there 09 team is terrible. Won't this be the majority of the GA team for next year?! Why would any non FCV 09 tryout for FCV GA team, when they have stronger ARL, McLean, VDA, and Loudoun ECNL teams within proximity.

Agree with posters saying this will be the slow end to them.

After that meeting at Arlington it seems like most of the GA team will be replaced and moved down to red. This will force a domino effect on all their lower teams. It all depends on what “a lot” means in terms of girls who came out for the new ECNL team.

I’d be surprised if the parents of those play ups accept moving back on age. Their kids don’t seem to be struggling, right?

I am doubtful that the girls playing up are coming down -- maybe some current playup 08s go and play 09 which would give needed core to 09, but the others at older ages are starters and will almost surely stay.... Two players have left 08 this year -- one moved away, and one moved on. Have heard no rumors of any others leaving -- where do you hear that others are going?
