The Democrats insist that any immigration reform includes mass amnesty. And, that is not happening.
That would simply reward law breakers and be a magnet for MORE illegal immigration. Why can't Democrats understand that?

For two years Trump had GOP majorities in both houses of Congress. He could have acted without any help from the Democrats. What legislation did he sign?

I'll answer that: he signed a tax cut for the wealthy and corporations. And before anybody brings up the filibuster - it's not enshrined in the Constitution, and Republicans abolished the filibuster for SCOTUS nominees because they truly cared about putting Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. If they truly cared about immigration reform they could have abolished the filibuster for that too.

Oh, please. LWNJs would have taken to the streets had Trump managed to sign anything into law re: illegal immigration. And we all know it.
