This is called fan fiction. Do you lack your own family, so you live thru Meghan’s? |
Succinct and very on point. |
But what was the incentive to have her fail? |
Yet, still so many questions unanswered. |
Yes, I think the money issue is very off-putting to many. |
There wasn't. They wanted her to respect the hierarchy, which she had no interest in doing. Neither side is blameless here. |
Oprah did not buy it. Her mannerisms and tone were telling that she was not buying it. Human Resources? Really? That was when it had completely flown the coop. My 15-year old son said "she went to see Toby?". I spit my drink out on that one. We had just finished the entire Office series. |
No, the point is that she has a network in the US that can help them...witness Tyler Perry giving them his house for a few months. When she says she was in a union and it protected her, she doesn’t just mean contract provisions. |
I’m so confused. Why are these two whining about the BRF not financially supporting them or providing security when they stepped away as working members? Am I missing something? Why do you have an expectation that it should continue when you don’t work there? |
I think this is one of those things that seems more sinister than it actually is. If BRF members travel anywhere in an official capacity as working senior family members, it would be arranged by the royal household and on a private plane (in most cases), so they wouldn't really need access to their passports. Their secretaries probably have them if needed, but they don't really go through security or customs like the rest of us. Even their personal travel probably would have been arranged by one of the secretaries. Her American or Canadian driver's license wouldn't do her much good in the UK anyway. If she'd stayed in the UK long-term, she'd probably just have gotten her license there. The Queen isn't required to have a license or a passport, but others in the family have theirs. |
The fact that you think there is no HR apparatus in the Firm is kind of risible. Americans are really poorly-informed about the relationship between the family and the Firm. They are not contiguous. The Firm is a business. |
NP. That was exactly Harry's (summarized) response to leaving. I don't see how you think it's fan fiction. Your second sentence makes you seem unwell and incapable of critical thought. |
It seems very clear to me that these two wanted to have their cake and eat it too. |
Has it not occurred to you that Harry’s wearing a Nazi uniform was a passive aggressive way of calling out his family? Many members have very close ties to Nazis, some of the relations *were* Nazis, SS officers. It’s obvious that Harry’s justified resentment over how his mother was treated and how her death was handled profoundly impacted him. Seems to me that on some level - maybe unconsciously- he was acting out against the family in engaging in some of those youthful indiscretions. |
I am a Fed and I wouldn't go to HR about my mental illness, even if it were job stress. The 'Toby' thing was funny. |
