It’s set. So your kid would have to be extremely good or extremely fast..lol

Nobody has mentioned the non-ECNL 3rd teams (as usual); If a coach hasn’t already been talking to you, that is where you land.

This would be helpful to know.

Isn’t that why they’re sending offers to current players now? To lock in the income stream for next school year? They figure the current families are captive with the uncertainty

Invites go out today, yes.

Rosters are already set for most girls ECNL teams. Previous poster is correct about tryouts, unless you are extremely talented or athletic, there will not be open tryouts for ECNL I teams. 2007 Girls seem to be the weakest year. Also a new head coach in Trey for that age group. That year perhaps has spots open.

Both Kevin and Dave Greene do not believe in equal playing time. Both also like to keep small rosters.

All new roster spots for promising players will be for ECNL II teams if available. In other words, ECNL II teams will likely have the large roster size.

I know nothing about the boys side.

I think the 2008 team may have spots as KL kept the team small and moving to larger field so traditionally a year to add. KL developed the team so already have his system of play.

So are most people signing up that recieved invites? I feel like we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. My mind says screw it as we're probably already in the negative but my heart says sign ds up bc he loves it so much.

No, turning down.
Unhappy with the uncertainty for the fall, plus we’re back on a team we weren’t thrilled with.

I agree with the former. But we got a good team and an excellent coach so if we try to join midyear i know we won't get the same place. They know exactly what they're doing.

I would not be advertising roster spots available for the 2008 team. Before the pandemic they were actively recruiting for that team. The league play in pre-ecnl was subpar.

They developed during the season. Beat pipeline 3-0 in bethesda tournament. Selected for top tier in jeff cup. KL was their coach. Isn’t that a sign of a good coach to develop a team during a season?

With all of the offers that BSC has sent out, are they requiring commitment and payment within days of offer?

I’m asking since BSC is doing virtual training this season and will not provide any refunds. Hence, the same can happen for Fall 2020 season and even for Spring 2021 season as well.
