I’m asking since BSC is doing virtual training this season and will not provide any refunds. Hence, the same can happen for Fall 2020 season and even for Spring 2021 season as well.

You have 7 days to accept the offer. The fee is discounted if you pay in full by August 1. If you do the monthly payment plan, they waive the finance charge.

This is FAKE NEWS. The Spring season has not been canceled yet, and it is possible some games may be played (in MD). Maybe, maybe not. But uncertain for sure. With that uncertainty, it would be silly for BSC or any similar MD club to formulate a refund policy (which is dependent on how much of the season has been canceled). There may be some refunds (though I doubt full refunds) and/or credit rollovers, etc. You speaking out of your posterior when you say BSC "will not provide any refunds."

Just. Stop.

Why isnt there any mention of Covid at all in their welcome packet? Its something every single parent is wondering about yet BSC is ignoring the issue.

It might be a little premature for me to say no refunds but no one knows if BSC will fully refund, partially refund or no refunds at all for the wonderful virtual training. But with this uncertainty, why would anyone legally commit to pay for an entire year and have to pay at least a portion within 7 days without any COVID-19 clauses?

Refunding parents fully for spring is not an option for most clubs, they would end up out of business

Do you really believe there can be ANY part of the spring 2020 season played? Schools are closed until 5/15 (and we know they'll be closed the remaining month, just hasn't been announced yet), and county fields are already closed through the end of May. Yet someone (many someones?) believes they can play the spring 2020 season in the first 2 weeks of June?

There's a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell to you. A monument in DC too.

I agree. ECNL and NCSL has not refunded any amount to any clubs yet hoping to play some portion of Spring Season games during the summer. It’s crazy but some clubs are waiting for the leagues.

I am still paying for daycare even though my kids aren’t going. I’m not sure why people are surprised that they are paying for soccer. These are unprecedented circumstances and I don't want people to lose their jobs. Their last letter indicated that they were furloughing some of the staff. That was disappointing to hear. So far they are the only club I’ve heard is doing that.

Did BSC get a PPP loan?

fake news......What statement? Their last email to the club was April 15th- no mention of furloughing. Thats when they reduced office hours and staffing.

I’m pretty sure it’s easy to read between those lines. Reducing hours and staff. I think that’s the PC way of saying it. Do you know for sure that they haven’t?
