Question for White Americans about the future of US

My white child goes to a predominately upper middle class school with heavy Asian demographics. I love the fact that the academics are rigorous because that is what the parents demand. I take him to additional math tutoring 3 dayd a week, not because he struggles, but to get him ahead., just like his peers with tiger moms.i walk into his math center and there are usually 3 whites (mainly male children) and the rest all Asian. Original Americans (blacks and whites) are chosing not to get with the program and step it up and try to compete with the highest common denominator. You can be a minority and still be successful, you just have to work at it and have parents who value education. I see it with thr Asian parents, our schools are good because thr parents put the pressure on and demand excellence.

This dies out over generations in America. Offspring get lazier.

DP, but you're living in liberal ideology land if you won't admit that there are cultural differences regarding how much emphasis is placed on education. Jews and Asians are a prime example. While their peers are outside practicing for Friday night's HS football game, the Jews and Asians are at their computers, studying. Hugh generalization, I know, but definitely tends that way.

It doesn't take a PhD in statistics to figure out that Asians and Jews kick ass in academics. They would even do better if you took away the extra points that black and Hispanic students get in the college admissions process.

It's absolutely factual. I worked in an area of higher-education admissions, and we knew that the percent of blacks would drop to around 2% or 3% if standards were applied equally. Jews and Asians, and white males in general, lose out in favor of "diversity."

Thats a great attitude and I admire it.

I work with youth for a living. Mainly black and brown kids, which includes dark skinned asians. This summer, the age group is 3-8th grade. I can tell you I have never seen them so motivated to do well. Its inspiring. But scary. They are also chomping at the bit. Politically. I'm not sure what that looks like in 30 years.

FWIW, I also think we are seeing a bit of a push back from white kids, who I think are more aware of these things than anyone else. That's probably why Trump was really popular with the generation below millennials. I think many white people are kind of waking up and, not unfairly, wanting to make sure their culture doesn't get eradicated. I think that's just smart. Whatever culture you're from, it makes sense to want to advance/preserve it.

Huh, so Trump is "massively" popular with kids 0 to 16 years old? I'm pretty sure no one has actually polled them. If you're seeing kids who are generally for or against Trump, they are mostly parroting their parents' talking points.

People like you who refuse to acknowledge the REALITIES of what different populations and cultures value are excatly why blacks in particular will always be at the bottom of the heap. As a white person, i don't see blacks or Hispanics in the very slightest as compwtition for future high paying jobs. Asians (yea ALL of them) are the competition of the future. Hispanics i think will pull it out, but this victim mentality and refusal to take any ownership that is pervasive in the black community and amoung self loathing whites only serves to keep blacks as whole without a seat at the table.

Despite living in a mixed community, when i take my white kids to their math and writing learning centers are there absolutly no, and i mean no blacks ever there? But instead the seats are full of Indians, and Koreans? Don't tell me its money either because blacks are fully represented on the area travel sports teams which is much more expensive than academic toutoring.
