Not the PP, but DC accepted @ GDS. Learned via phone. Child did not attend feeder. Child scored extremely well on WPPSI. Child enjoyed playdate. Child prefers another school because of playground equipment.

Waiting on Sidwell.....

Congrats!! Holton is a great school. I would choose it over Sidwell in a heartbeat. We know lots of families with girls at Holton. Also, know a teacher. Other than a few negative comments about materialism (which I think you find in most groups of teenage girls) everything we hear is great. Our DD is only in PK at St Pats but when she is old enough we will be looking at both Holton and NCS. I hope your daughter ends up there and loves it.

Our son was rejected flat out from Sidwell for pre-k. 99% WPPSI, didn't apply for financial aid, great recs, have no idea how the playdate went. I know he said he was bored during it, so who knows!? I am a bit annoyed at the school but I still think it is a great school. We did get into our first choice school though so we are pleased with that!

13:15, what was your first choice?? DD K 99% WIPPSI, great recs, playdate i think good, and parent interview at Sidwell i thought went well, i just wish they could have been more realistic about chances , was told wlist the year before was great, but turns out it means ZERO
