Just a few years ago even talking about the transgender issue would get your post deleted. It’s refreshing we can have a frank discussion on what went wrong. |
I went to bed at 830 last night literally not caring who won when I woke up.
Now that Trump won I am fine with americas choice - especially that he won the popular vote. She lost because she had no connection to most of our voting population- seems pretty fair and glad to see democracy back in action. |
Campaigning while black and female |
Unlike Harris, Maya Rudolph has talent and appeals to audiences. She will do just fine. |
George Clooney really messed up didn’t he. Now he and his wife will really fade into irrelevance. |
Not immigration. That was a distant third or fourth in the exit polls |
More than half of white women voters continue to vote Republican. |
DOJ targeting Catholics. |
I am shocked she lost every swing state. Shocked.
I did not vote either - a lose/lose contest but I had expected it to either be her in this position or that the swing states would be split between them or at least 1-2 going to either candidate. I did not see all of them going to 1 person. To me, that's shocking. |
You are not making the point you think you are. Middle schoolers are not the best representatives of reality. |
This. This was our French Revolution, only it was done at the ballot box instead of the guillotine. Let’s count our blessings that we have a civilized system and the system worked. |
I agree with many of the comments here. Democrats have turned into a menace. Lawfare, illegal immigration, inflation, “revisiting the first amendment,” insane cultural positions, oppressive social climate, etc.
But, really, all of these things are downstream from the hubris derived from two cherished beliefs among Democratic elites: the emerging democratic majority theory and the belief that they are on the “right” side of history. These two beliefs have formed the basis of their attitude that they are sure to win and whatever they do is the right thing. That has led them badly astray. |
I wasn't surprised. But it's misogyny, Trump made people feel ok with their hate and biases, and low information voters. We're living in idiocracy and are the laughing stock of the world. My family will survive it. Others are going to suffer bigly. But we are only about our family and survival at this point and I don't care about anyone else. And I never thought I'd get to that point in my life but here I am. Hurricane? Don't care. Can't get medical care? Don't care. Can't insure your home? Don't care. I can weather all of those things. I'm embarrassed for this country. Devastated to see how willingly people are willing to sacrifice decency, smarts, education, morality, and their rights so they can save a few bucks on eggs. But if you can't beat them, I'll get I'll join them. I"ll get mine and screw the rest. But, hey, may the odds be ever in your favor. |
It's as old and simple as time itself: Don't switch horses in midstream! Nancy Pelosi is to blame. Hells bells, Biden would have gotten the sympathy vote!

That’s it? She had nothing else to offer and you expected her to win? |
