I’ve told my kids not to tell anyone their names and to deny they are Jewish if asked. We are Jewish but by looking at me and my kids you wouldn’t automatically assume. My husband is really afraid of all that is going on - and we live in Brooklyn - but he (hopes) thinks that most people wouldn’t try to mess with him, he’s a big guy. I’m looking into self defense classes for myself and my kids. It’s scary.
