The property should be revalued at a fair market assessment.

Have you reviewed SDAT and compared all private county pools' assessments? Including those in gated communities?

Would be interested to see here instead of just repeating same old line.

(I am not a member nor on the waitlist)

I'm sure it's not just PG Pool that's under assessed. With that said, if this crappy racist pool isn't paying their taxes, and someone finds out, they need to start paying.

Sounds like several folks have contacted the county, so it’s on PG to make the next move. In fact, it’s always been the responsibility of the county to do assessments, so I don’t understand why people are pissed at the members for the county not doing their jobs.

We weren’t smart; we were just lucky with our timing. The PGP is nice but there are plenty of other good places. Try Adelphi, Cheverly or Bowie.

Try paying your taxes. PG Pool is a deadbeat.

We'll do that as soon as every MD deadbeat driver has paid all their DC speeding tickets.

lol, PG poors can't pay their speeding tickets and can't be part of our pool!

It’s ironic that these trolls shout “racist!” when their real goal is to price out some current members so that the waitlist moves faster…

I’ve been there as a guest a few times and don’t get the hard on everyone has for the place.

Deflection. Pay your taxes, deadbeat.

Is PG Pool delinquent in their taxes?

Lots of baseless assumptions going on here.

Trump technically paid his taxes, too.

That’s not how it works. The extra taxes *you* are claiming they owe (based on what? Jealously?) will be passed on to the current members.

If the property is undervalued by the County, that’s an error they need to correct. It’s up to the holder of the deed to figure out how to pay what they owe. Your assumptions about motivation aren’t really relevant here. Also, I work for SDAT and don’t live in PG county nor have or want to join this pool. So, no need to lecture me about my motivations.

Serious question. Are you suggesting that a non-profit should be proactively reaching out to the county to see if they can pay more taxes, just because? I mean, do you check your redfin and then call the county to say, hey, looks like my house value has gone up, could you maybe come over and reassess so I can pay more taxes?? Wow.

What is your proof they are not paying their taxes?
Do the research.

No, but if someone else does and my home is grossly under assessed, then I shouldn’t be shocked and appalled either.
