If we keep the pattern, maybe Maryland will come off the NY travel ban next week? MD's 7 day average for daily cases per 100K people is down to 10.1: https://globalepidemics.org/key-metrics-for-covid-suppression/ |
Or they will consider opening schools in November! |
Hello everyone, just wanted to say that I have been waiting and looking to page number 150 as a milestone! As a Marylander, I am so encouraged right now. We have to keep going, doing our best. Making good choices.
Do what you can, stay healthy and safe, praying for the world. Take care, and thank you to everyone who posts here! |
Maryland finally made it into the yellow category today! (under 10 cases per 100K people). |
Only one state is in the red! https://covidactnow.org/?s=931185 |
Great news! Virginia is also very close to getting the total cases under 10 per 100K. This is not the time to get complacent though since things could easily turn the other direction. I want to see our whole region in yellow and green. |
Now we're talking! We can and will and must continue to do better. |
Oh my gosh, yes please! |
The Federal government is asking states to get their vaccine distribution plan ready by October 1. There is lots of planning being currently done to gear up for a national distribution effort. |
Great news! |
